How To Find Your Glove Size If You Don't Have A Printer
“Don’t overthink it” 😂 Best piece of advice in the whole video!
I want 100% wool, merino, alpaca, etc. Liners
are they custom cut to my sketch or do you select the closest size? how does custom work with 1 hand sketch?
Could use Alpaca for a loner instead of Merino.
Gonna measure and order!!!l amen made in America with American labor and pride….no big corps or private equity
Do you only manufacture leather gloves?
Yes
I may try these out since I will be snowboarding Colorado all winter 2024-2025. Do these stay waterproof during long days in the snow?
If you apply our waterproofer they will: th-cam.com/video/fd-bibo5z9E/w-d-xo.html
Will this work on boxing gloves
If they're leather it should.
I will be buying these gloves from now on for all my workers on my ranch because we go through tons of gloves every year. KP3 Ranch!
You don’t mention finger length and it’s a sizing option????
Great video. Glad I waited till the last 10 seconds. Great stuff (and great gloves).
Are the Vermonter and the Uphill Skier basically the same, except for the Cinchable cuffs and the included wool liner? I'm asking because I hear a lot of good things about the Vermonter but I'd prefer to have a Cinchable cuff for gardening.
That's correct. The leather glove is the same. The uphill skier size is calibrated to wear with the removable wool liner, so you may want to size down if you plan to wear them without.
I was on the fence about getting a pair if your gloves. This video alone sealed the deal. Ill be up soon.
😆💪
This cant be profitable....new ones are like 10 bucks
😂😂😂😂
Absolutely the best gloves, I purchased 2 pair at Christmas I ordered one pair the wrong size - I bought to big, I sent an email and VG took care of it sending me the correct size, I had to send the other pair back. Made in the USA
We love to hear it, thanks for sharing!
Wicked Amazing Tour love seeing an old New England Factory in use and perfect job of using it to it's fullest to make a quality product! GOOD JOB!!
Just got the vermonter gloves today and they're the best I've had. I used to cycle through $8 wells lamont gloves they were okay and honestly exceeded expectations for the price but these are on another level. If you want serious protection and comfort, VG is it. They even did a little customization to help me pack these gloves on my rucks better. Totally worth the extra money.
That's an amazing video! Thanks so much for sharing it. Making Vermont Gloves is labor-intensive, but the final product is terrific! It's so good to see a company in business for more than a century taking such pains to create a top-level product.
Smile!! Too bad you don't sell trade specific gloves on the web site. I'm so tired of not finding decent gloves in retail stores. I"ve worn out many dozens of leather gloves in my 76 years in construction, steel, logging, heavy equip. operation and wrenching and on and on. Gloves are essential in many jobs and good ones are not easy to find these days. Thank you!
What kind of gloves are you looking for?
I’d like to try some.
Me too.
We'd like that too :)
went to your website. like 50 styles of gloves? 00:22 I see 8 types of gloves, 9 if you include the wool liner glove
We make a lot more styles than we retail. We have been serving trade & wholesale customers for 100 years. Many of our styles are trade-specific and therefore we don't sell them on our website.
As a business enthusiast, I find this video underrated. 👍
I use mine for welding, I really like the fact that I can get them fixed!
Typical Googan.
I love that you didn’t redo the video. It was real. It was endearing good for you. Hasn’t that happened to all of us with one product or another love you.
Love my VT gloves. Cheers from Sweden.
Been on the fence about buying your gloves because as high as the quality looks, the price is pretty up there too, understandably. I don’t have too much extra money to spend on gloves but I will be absolutely saving up for a pair now
Brilliant demo. Sold.
10/10
Clearly an excellent presentation but might want to consider explaining why you use Goat Leather opposed to even Deerskin, etc…
it's more durable...Simple as that.
It'd be nice to get a video on that but I implore you to go watch others on here explain why. As JC put it, it's more durable. To add to that, what I've found in my limited experience is that it's able to stay durable when very thin! I think that's what makes it superior to cowhide which you could make super tough by having it thick. But then you'd have less dexterity and fine touch. Just my two cents from someone that really just uses similar gloves for chopping wood and other chores. I have a pair of Duluth goatskin I got on sale, I like them more than my previous cow or deerskin. With deerskin being a good middleground between goat and cow
I just bought the gloves, should I apply the neatsfoot oil before I use it or wait a month of use?
I’m not sure, I’m wondering myself
Nah, you can run them for a while before conditioning. They are chock full of lanolin out of the box. That said, it's not going to hurt anything if you want to condition them right away. If they start to feel a little stiff or look dry that's when you should start conditioning. Or if they get fully soaked its a good idea to condition them after they dry completely (away from a direct heat source ;)
Thank you
I think its an awsome idea and have a pair of gloves that have been repaired already but need it again. I think it would be worth reinforcing every finger while you have them there! If your wearing through a couple fingers the others are not far behind it. I actually would love to see the finger tips reinforced on the inside and the outside like in this video right from the factory when purchased! This seems like it would be worth doing to make the longest lasting gloves possible!
Awesome gift idea!
Thanks 👍
Oil that weather
That’s what I kept hearing. 😂
What about the width? Thanks
There are width markers on the right side of the hand on the chart 👍
@@vermontglove4112 Not everyone is going to see this explanation. You should make a new video where he points out the measurements at the index finger and at the bottom of the palm(right hand side). Also - what if your index finger measures at 9 but your palm measures at 11?
@@lennydelvecchio7716 Good suggestion! We'll work on that. Get in touch with us about a custom glove at info@vermontglove.com
hey guys i build custom waterfalls and was wondering if these apps would make the gloves a bit slippery as far as pickin up stone 50-80# stone is not friendly to feet.
If anything the beeswax will make the gloves a little tacky at first... we haven't experienced them becoming slippery.
yep, i keep bees, ok thank you sir.@@vermontglove4112
Money-shotttttttttttttt
Would a boot dryer that just uses a fan be ok?
Dish soap. Good to know.
man, just another saturday night.....
I left 3 pare of leather work gloves in my outdoor shed over the winter. When I got to them they had mold on them. I figured they were ruined so I couldn’t make it worse. I smoked them in white vinegar. Somewhere between 2 and 10 hours. Then scrubbed them liberally with a brush. After rinsing them with water I conditioned them like in this video and they look and feel great know. If you have a better suggestion for mold on leather gloves let me know.
We sure do - here's a video we made on the subject: th-cam.com/video/PvlSEPaVpBw/w-d-xo.html
Good video. Thanks
This is great, please include a link to the PDF in the description so people can print the sizing chart!
Hey great idea ;) Added to the description and. you can also find the chart here: vermontglove.com/pages/sizing
Dude is hilarious. Work from a prepared script next time. 🤣🤣🤣
Shaaadaaaapp
I got a finger tip repaired a little while ago. They did such a good job my dad stole those repaired gloves on sight! Keep em close!!
Last year I sent a pair back that I felt wore through one finger tip prematurely. They repaired the one hole as well as reinforced another finger tip on the same glove and also one on the other glove. They shipped the gloves back without charging for postage. All within a week. Most likely the best customer care from any company I have dealt with
Good idea
Way to maintain your composure. Thumbs up.
These gloves are the best. Bought two pair. Will buy more, not because they wear out but because I can use them for all different tasks. Made in VT so you know there isn’t anything better.
