    How long do you cook your meat on the stove top smoker?

    • @Cooking-um6qu
      @Cooking-um6qu หลายเดือนก่อน

      I smoke the meat on the stovetop for about 30 minutes or so, per the the manufacturer's recommendations. Finish in the oven at 250 for about two hours. This depends on the size of the shoulder...if it was bigger I'd probably take the roast out after 30 minutes, put in more wood chips, then smoke for another 30 minutes. Then increase the amount of time in the oven. Good luck!

    Love this , will try it! Could we not just add another tablespoon of chips at the end of the first hour and do it again for another hour and skip the oven roasting?

    • @Cooking-um6qu
      @Cooking-um6qu 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I thought about that, but my concern was that pork needs to cook low and slow--and the smoker requires at least a medium burner setting to get smoking. That's probably hotter than 250 degrees, and oven heat is more even and consistent. But you could certainly give it a try!

      Lol well thanks very much! I do the best I can with what I have but I'm getting ready to up my game in the near future. I'm of the opinion that Memphis has the best barbecue pork in the land, but I'm sure others will disagree. In any case, the idea is to be able to make and enjoy the barbecue that you love best!

    If you don’t like the smell of smoke, then why buy an indoor smoker 🤔?? LOL. I have this exact smoker and I use it regularly in my #NinjaFoodi Smart XL Pro Air Oven. I don’t have any issues with too much smoke leakage at all. There are instructions on how to bend the lid just a hair to stop it from letting too much smoke out (if that’s occurring). Also, I wrap a strip of aluminum foil around the edge of the smoker which then completely seals it from smoke exiting. After I ignite the first load of wood chips, I smoke for one hour at 250*. I change the wood chips out for more and once it starts to smoke the second time, I finish off the cooking in back in the Ninja at 250* with the 2nd dose of woods chips in the bottom smoking away. I use the recipe and timing for baby back ribs. GREAT SMOKE TASTE, NO ISSUES, NO LEAKAGE. Thanks for the video tho, greatly appreciated bud. Enjoy and #HappySmoking

      There's smoke, and then there's smoke. I love the smell of it, but I don't want my apartment to smell like a smoke house or set off the alarm lol
