The CFA Institute provides you the flexibility to schedule the exam whenever you want. 2. Upon Registration/Payment, you get a 6 months window to plan your studies, prepare, and book your exam. 3. You book your exam in the CFA Institute Learning ecosystem through their exam calendar. 4. You can choose your exam date based on the dates available in the exam calendar. Plenty of spots are available, and you can easily pick the date you want by booking your exam two weeks in advance. You can also book your exam one week or a few days in advance, but the chances of getting the desired spots decrease. 5. Or wait, and do your Exam on Version 4, Starting on February 1, 2023. The best option will depend on the Candidate's Study Stage and condition: 1. Level of preparation of the Candidate - Are you ready to do your exam in November/December 2022? - If Yes. Go for it. 2. Availability of Exam Dates - Are you able to find a date to book your exam? An exam overbooking is expected in November and December 2022 due to the CFA ESG Version Transition (V3 to V4). If you are ready and you can book an exam date. Go for it. 3. If you are not ready and/or you cannot find a date, an option can be to prepare for your exam After February 1, 2023. (Version 4) 4. You also need to consider your Registration Date. Are you able to book your exam after February 1, 2023? AM Recommendation: You are registered but plan to do your exam on Version 4 after February 2023? With the current ESG developments, we understand that the curriculum may be updated based on new regulations, organizations, frameworks, and cases. We can not give you a straight answer because the Edition 4 changes are still being analyzed and must be approved by the CFA Institute. We still don't have any official information from the CFA Institute on that matter. We can tell you that from edition 2 to edition 3, there were no drastic or structural changes, and someone studying with Edition 2 material would be ~80% ready to do the exam on Edition 3. As CFA Institute Prep Provider, Alma Mundus makes sure that candidates have a smooth transition between editions, including cases like those of people who have studied with the previous edition materials. This transition is made through constant communication with candidates, webinars, Edition changes summaries, and study materials updates (Question Banks, Mock Exams, etc.). Also, our candidates only pay once. For example, someone like you that want to start studying in Edition 3, but do the exam in Edition 4. In this situation, the candidate can access all the Edition 4 updates for free, considering that the candidate already paid for the study tools in Edition 3. This must be your decision Fouad. After doing the 100 questions of the exam, candidates submit their exam, and the result will show up on your screen automatically. Remember that the CFA Institute does not disclose exam scores, meaning candidates only know if they pass or fail. If the candidate passes "Congratulations" if the candidate does not pass, the CFA Institute will email a report with the candidate's performance per chapter, so the candidate knows what to improve. If you pass the exam, you will also receive a CFA ESG (digital) Badge after 2 or 3 days of your exam. This (digital) badge/credential can be added to your LinkedIn profile. The three certifications are great ways to better understand ESG: The CFA ESG Certificate is an overview of the ESG factors and will help you understand how you analyze and integrate those factors into investment decision-making. In summary, it is focused on Investment Strategies. The SCR certification focuses on climate risk. So it is more specific. In summary, it is focused on Risk management. The FSA Credential helps you identify, quantify, communicate, and analyze the sustainability factors that impact a company's value. If you have an Environmental background, you may want to look for companies in that field. Some investment teams will look to environment expertise. Research and consulting are other areas you may want to check. Your strength will always be your environmental background, but if you have some of this certification, it will be a plus and a good preparation for your interviews. Your expertise will be environment-related, so maybe a more generalist certification will help you (CFA ESG or FSA). UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THAT AREA, the SCR may be too specific (risk management). Best, The alma mundus Team

While both qualifications focus on sustainable investing, there are some slight differences in focus about them: Certificate in ESG Investing has a slightly broader focus on ESG factors and how the investment industry can adapt to that change in investor preferences. It also covers key concepts relating to climate change (including climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience) and a range of climate change initiatives. It features a more extensive study of the opportunities arising from the circular economy, green products, and clean and technological innovation. On the other hand, the Sustainability & Climate Risk (SCR) certificate mainly focuses on educating risk professionals on how to manage the leading environmental risk (arguably just the “E” part of ESG), i.e., climate change. While both are good quality qualifications from reputable organizations, the choice depends on which certificate has more relevance to your preferred career path: investments or risk management.

But the underlying assets include the bank's loan/ investments perspective, and the relevant KPI/KRIs reporting to senior management & the board. Basically, as an auditor how to do you assess the bank's risk management of ESG risk.
