I read a lot faster on my kindle as well. I think it's because the font and general "format" is the same across all books so I don't need to get used to different formats when switching books. 😅

I preordered funny story and now I’m excited to read it

Here's the logic and the math of why you read faster on a kindle - you grew up with smart phones and constant scrolling and holding a device in your hand, your brain is used to it so much that it has to switch when you hold a physical copy of a book (OMG no device in hand! lol). By holding a Kindle you trick it to think you're still on a phone or tablet. Not my thoughts by the way, apparently scientific fact. Personally I think it's sad and it shows how our brains have been changed and modified by technology.

I loved the addicted series so I am excited to read the Like Us series soon

Hi!! I also felt that 'A Curse for True Love' was a bit rushed and the chapters from Apollo's POV were a bit weird(? they were kind of disconnected imo. I still have some questions and there was a big chunk that could have been resolved sooner. Maybe it was the high expectations after reading the second one (my fave as well).
