It's not me deleting your link; it's actually TH-cam. Your posts are not showing up in my flagged messages. I think TH-cam allows me to post links because they're my video links. I notice if I do the same like you on other channels, the same happens to me. This also happens with other site links as well. On the topic of character links, give me the character and the author's name in your requests, or you can provide the string of letters and numbers after the = sign for TH-cam links like you did in your most recent request.

I agree; what makes it even more strange is that these characters were made by two different companies.

@@Ultryzweebs Good eye! While Lee and Mai both have flashy flame-based moves, their styles are pretty different-Lee draws from Chinese martial arts, while Mai’s moves are more ninja-inspired. Since SNK made both games, it’s possible the designers shared some ideas, but their characters were developed separately.

By the way, what happened to the The Last Blade series? did SNK abandoned it?. I found out that kof release earlier before The last blade. However, the very first SNK games that i know was The Last Blade. I like Mai Shiranui because she remind me of Lee since they both share similarity like using fan, do a lot of kicking and those flaming power thingy. I kinda wish SNK do a crossover so i can have Mai and Lee in the same team.

@@Ultryzweebs Great observation! It’s true that The Last Blade series hasn’t seen much attention from SNK in recent years, which is a shame because the games have such a unique charm and rich story. After the release of The Last Blade 2 in 1998 and The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny for the Neo Geo Pocket Color in 2000, the series went quiet in terms of mainline entries. However, SNK hasn’t completely abandoned it. For example, The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny was re-released on the Nintendo Switch in October 2020, and Hibiki Takane from The Last Blade joined Samurai Shodown as a DLC character in 2021. So, while we haven’t seen a new full-fledged game, SNK continues to celebrate the series in smaller ways. As for Mai and Lee, that would be an awesome team-up! They both have a lot of style and personality, and their abilities complement each other well. While they haven’t been officially paired yet, SNK has done crossovers like Neo Geo Battle Coliseum and KOF All Star, so it’s always possible we might see them in a crossover game someday. Fingers crossed SNK revisits The Last Blade or surprises us with a project that includes them both!
