During the flight, it seems that the pilot suggested us to tip him after the flight. The cockpit was very noisy and the sound wasn't clear in the headphones. But once landed, I was so focused to tape that I forgot to tip. I think that my co-passengers haven't tipped either.

That's right. I remember that Thai Airways was operating A340-500 to fly non-stop from BKK to USA. But now, no more flights for TG to USA despite the A350ULR, which is more fuel efficient. Thank you for the comment 🙏

Thank you for your comment 🙏 I remember that cabin crew were distributing "real" headphones after boarding. It seems that it's now simplier for them to let now earphones at disposal at the entrance of the aircraft. Wide array of movies and programs, that's top notch. But when the quality of the sound is average, that's too bad ☹ New First class seat should now include a sliding door to keep the suite secluded, a seat AND a bed. I'm just like you, eager to see how it is gonna look like It should come early 2025, at least mid-2025

I hope that your backup is not alcohol because I've heard that you will not be able to drink your own bottle onboard anymore. Usually, when the flight takes-off late in the evening like yours, SIA adapts its service to Sleeper service. The protocol is simplified so passengers go to sleep earlier. There are Lufthansa First Class lounge at B gates and First Class Terminal at Frankfurt. And SIA still invites its First Class passengers to this poor Senator Lounge. Is it because SIA doesn't wanna pay? Or Lufthansa doesn't let its alliance partners in? In Singapore, Lufthansa and Swiss First Class passengers go the Silver Kris Lounge.But, not in The Private Room 🙄

There's no Economy class on this non-stop flight. Otherwise, you have to make a stop in Frankfurt (SQ 25 & SQ 26) No wonder why gulf carriers are so popular. You can make a stop mid-flight

These seats are not from the last generation. You can fly in the latest Business Class seats in Airbus A380. Otherwise, new Business Class seats maybe mid-2025

The new Silver Kris Business Lounge in Changi is enjoyable thanks to the natural outside light. In the other part of the lounge we didn't report, there hight ceilings. Can you tell us why you prefer flights to Newark than JFK?

@@luxuryavgeek As we live close to Montreal it’s the best way to catch SQ flight from EWR as their is more flight departing from Montreal.

@@michelalbert5529 It's true the the Star Alliance hub in the area is Newark and no JFK. And usually, flights to and from Canada go to La Guardia. Thank you for your response

So, you saw a lady scolling IFE with her toes and you think that everybody does that because some people take off the socks during the flight? What a strange idea...🤣 I've read PPS rules and they don't mention bare feet 🤔

@luxuryavgeek Yes I saw it. No, I don't think everyone does it. The only time I have seen it. But... You and her are the only people in business class in bare feet. It's just not right. If you fly business class as much as you do, which is wayyyy more than me, then you should have a sense of decorum. Most international business class flights supply you with socks outright or in an amenity kit. On long haul I bring an extra pair of my own as well as extra underwear and a shirt. So this, to you, is the hill you want to die on? A little humility and less narcissism would carry you a long way. Up until then, I kind of enjoyed your flight report. I was even happy I didn't have to see the inside of your mouth while sampling the food offers, like more than half the youtubers. But, if you can't take constructive criticism while being on the internet to possibly grow your channel, then that is your decision. Good luck to you and safe travels.

Changi Airport is one of the leading airports in the world and the situation you met is indeed unacceptable. Did you report to someone at the airport?

@@luxuryavgeek Yes I did report to the Airport Information desk . They did take note and wrote me a email after 2 weeks thanking me for notifying and said that their engineers were rectifying the issue. Terminal 1 and 2 have these issues in their power points attached to waiting lounge seating. This clearly is a case of no one being responsible for standards at the Airport. If someone owns these standards at the Airport, then such compromises will not happen This has everything to do with leadership there.

Cabin crew told me that new First Class and Business Class will be revealed no later than mid-2025

Compared to old-generation aircrafts such as B747-400 or B777-300ER, air cabin quality on A350 or Dreamliner B787 is much better. Which means greater comfort in the cabin: less noise from the engines, no headache, dry nose or throat. And it's amazing how technology can now allow us to fly non-stop on greater distances.

Hi @htrinh2189, when do you plan to travel? Because SIA will still fly its A380 from the 2024 winter season. SIA flies daily to Frankfurt. Be sure to select SQ325 and SQ326 When I booked the ticket, it was operated by A380. But last minute change exists as these aircrafts can have technical problems

Helicopter flights are available from JFK, whether you arrive from a domestic flight or international. It sure saves lots of time to reach Manhattan but the fares are way higher. I'm not sure to fly again with them 😁 Thank you

Incredible, isn't it? The last aircraft to fly non stop from Singapore to New York has four engine (A340-500) and took more than a minute to take-off. Now, the new planes has only two engines. Thank you for the comment
