funny, am sitting here playing p99 , soloing, this video playing in another tab. while medding i heard footsteps behind me so i turned around and didnt see anyone. i have plainsight so i should be able to see anyone invis. check zone and theres a few others somewhere. kept hearing the foot steps and wondering who was walking around me, then realized its this video lol

By far my favorite track on any game Soundtrack. Ever. Nothing is more iconic.

Norrath felt like a world first, and then an experience. The zones weren't built with a systematic approach - hubs here, xyz here Some zones were just part of traveling the world, and many were extremely unique

It's thundering and storming here and I'm listening to this. Love it.

I don't know why, but I really enjoyed this zone and ground out many levels at the treehouse. I liked it so much that this was the place I chose to bring my lvl 65 Paladin in Nov 2004 when I "retired" from EQ and logged out of Norrath for the last time.

Oh man. I have such wonderful memories of listening to this song near the newbie lift. Occasionally, you'd hear the lift going up and down, and the buzzing of nearby wasps... Oh man. It's like they say, nostalgia is like heroin for old people. I'm so happy we have Project 1999, so I can relive these memories...
