Since this comment was written, Periphery has probably become one of the most mainstream progressive/djent bands and are partially responsible for the huge wave of the new "djent" bands trying to follow in their footsteps XD

The lows are awesome, but the cleans are pretty terrible. Spencer has gotten a lot better, check out the DT 2012 tour vids.
