    In the land of Scotland, there existed a dark chapter that had plagued the lives of many innocent children for far too long. This chapter, known as the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry, aimed to shed light on the harrowing tales and unforgivable injustices suffered by those who had the misfortune of growing up in various institutions. The story began with a promise, a glimmer of hope for the survivors seeking justice. The Scottish government had initiated this inquiry, vowing to uncover the truth and provide a redress scheme for those harmed in residential care settings. Understandably, the survivors held on to this promise with every ounce of strength they possessed. However, as the days bled into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years, the wheels of justice turned excruciatingly slowly. Time seemed to stretch indefinitely, as the survivors anxiously watched the inquiry unfold and wondered if they would ever receive the closure they so desperately craved. As the years rolled on, their patience waned, and doubt began to creep in. The survivors, now adults facing the burdens of daily life, found it increasingly difficult to hold on to their faith in the inquiry. Many had finally summoned the courage to share their stories, reliving the painful memories buried deep within their souls. But for what? The redress scheme that had initially appeared like a beacon of hope seemed to fade into a distant dream. The survivors' belief in justice, once undying, was challenged with every passing day that the inquiry dragged on. The toll it took on their emotional well-being was immeasurable, as they were left to grapple with the trauma that had haunted their lives since childhood. The Scottish government, aware of the deepening frustrations, attempted to acknowledge the delays and offer reassurances. Apologetic words flowed from the mouths of politicians, promising expedited actions and a fair redress scheme in due course. Yet, time continued to slip away, leaving only hollow promises in its wake. The survivors, in their pain and disappointment, faced an agonizing choice. With each passing day, more and more of them, sadly, opted out of the redress scheme. They had grown weary, exhausted from the battle for justice, and deeply wounded by the passage of time. The inquiry, once their ray of hope, had inadvertently let them down. But even in the face of such overwhelming despair, there remained a flicker of resilience. A few survivors, refusing to surrender entirely, continued to advocate for themselves and others. They rallied together, lending one another support and determination. They drew strength from each other's shared experiences, vowing to never let the light of truth be extinguished. And so, the tale of the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry continued. It became a testament to the tragic consequences of excessive delays, exposing an inherent flaw in the pursuit of justice. But amidst the darkness, the survivors persisted, their voices growing louder and their demand for redress resolute. For, at the heart of their fight, lay the unwavering belief that no amount of time could erase the atrocities committed against them.

    Its not like a myriad of famous musicians have suddenly and inexplicably (ie non-natural) died....Is it my perception or does this phenom seem to be happening more often?

    • @maxp9292
      @maxp9292 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This observation may be affected by the "availability bias," where people perceive frequent occurrences of events that are more readily available in their memory, often due to media coverage or public attention. Musicians' deaths might receive more coverage, creating the impression that they happen more frequently than they actually do.

    It's not very obvious to foreigners that this is a water bridge. First time driving there, at night? There are lights, IF working (2 of 3didn't work the night of the accident). But in the UK, blinking means the barriers are just closing, a warning. Steady lights mean Do not cross at all, train is coming. In Sweden blinking means they're already down and time to stop. Different meanings. They had normal speed, couldn't see warnings bc THEY DIDN'T WORK that night. Didn't know it was a water bridge, not railroads. Possibly crashed the first barrier. Thinking it's a railroad, rushing again to make it through, crushing barrier 2 not knowing it's a water bridge, not railroads. That's a very possible explanation for the tragedy. Horrible loss of 5 lifes. Tragic and sad :(
