Hog Cam 12/7/24 3 visitors

Last night we had 3 visitors to the feeding bowl, I believe two were doing a courting ritual as they spent a hell of a long time just dance out. In one scene whilst the other two are fox trotting you can see the third one appear, start huffing them off he goes. First time I have ever had three turn up at the same time. Very special.

Number 3 in the Hedgehog cam overnight recordings. We live in a city environment and are very fortunate to have hedgehogs visit our garden at night. They are an endangered species in the UK, and need our help and support. Sorry if this type of video is boring, but unless we do something to help them these will be among the few videos that we have ever showing their existence. It’s that bad. Let...

Hog Cam 10-7-24 FIGHT

Last evenings hog cam footage has picked up two hedgehogs meeting at the bowl. They don’t seem too happy so I suspect one is a Dominicans and the other is either a younger one or a female. They don’t half make a noise though for animals that are so small. We are so fortunate and lucky to have them in our little garden.

It’s been a while since I had the camera out, but recently I saw evidence that our hedgehog had returned. So, as a result the camera came out of storage and here we are. Our feral cat “Tabs” sussed the camera out straight away as you will see. She knows every inch of her domain.
