hello didi, when did you start preparing for usmle, did you give yout step1and 2 during or after the mbbs?
After . But I recommend during mbbs. Saves alot of time and more chances to match . (Personal view )
What if one not matched in residency?
I haven’t matched too. But I will try again and again. Once you give all the step exams you can do your job build cv and keep on applying on the side 💛 The life after match is rewarding. But it depends on your choice too. Do you really want the lifestyle ? If yes try again and again
@DrAbisha thanku di...
Then..we'll have to do all this while staying in U.S, right?
@@shitalsharma7644not necessarily

😮👌
Should one go for a reattempt if they have failed step 1?
Definitely, prepare well. The path can be hard but I have seen people match with reattempts too 💗 For step 1 the selective resources is enough you can refer to my video for step 1 and understand the basics. Do more and more questions. Amboss , Uworld. Do more this time you willl🙌🙌🙌
Thank you for your kind words di. I dont have any connections nor do I know any residents in the US. Do you think it is possible with a reattempt and no personal connections in the US healthcare to match?
Wowww you’re stunning! And you should be proud of yourself too 💗
Didi tapaile kun med school ma padhnu bhako ho?
NAIHS
Didi after getting residency, do we get to apply for PR or do we have to return to Nepal after years of residency?
It depends what Visa you do residency in for the Green card. Returning to Nepal is your choice it’s not compulsory to stay or leave US after residency. It’s your choice.
@@DrAbisha thankyou didi
thank you didi
Always 💗
Thank you for this insightful video ❤

Is there any free link to bnb videos?
“Don’t take life seriously and have fun in the moment” is fun until you are 18 and already have a bad liver, 3 misdemeanor charges and a dropped felony, 2 abortions, 7 separate jobs in 3 years, no high school diploma, and your whole family turns their back because it was all on you :)
I love this❤

Why to be a doctor? Someone said. TO MAKE MY PARENTS PROUD AND GIVE THEM THE BEST LIFE FOR THE SACRIFICES AND HARDWORK THEY HAVE DONE FOR ME 🤍

Can you make videos on how to make notes on an ipad as a med student??
I have made one☝️
❤
❤❤
Don't worry u will get it in '25❤
Oh that's high, are you getting any stipends or salary
I am not a resident. But they do get salary.
Hello doc hope you are doing well. Igraduated in 2021 and completed my one-year house job. After that, I started working on the MRCEM exam. I have passed all the steps except the final OSCE, but I haven’t been able to take it because of the long wait and lack of available seats. Currently, I am working as a medical officer at a Basic Health Unit in an underprivileged area. Now, almost 2025, I am thinking about taking the USMLE Step 1. Will this gap in my career affect my chances of working in the USA, or is it still okay to take the exam? I’m feeling very confused and don’t know what to do next.
Also did you take notes? Or use anki
Yes, super imp to take notes for last few days. Helps a lot
Hii please how long did it take you to prepare? In months
4 months (dedicated)
Are you from nepal ?
Helloooo can you explain about residency process matching and all Di and about your journey too
I just uploaded the steps to take USMLE, you can check that out.
Big fan sis 👏

Good video
Thank you
I understand the concept your going for here, but just posting this dosent get the messege to anyone it needs to. It honestly triggers those of us who are struggling to pay rent and buy food while studying for those exams till were exhausted and having people say were privileged and lazy, not realizing were working 2 full time jobs.(which yes, realitively we are compared to the wrold, but normally were not compared to the ones saying it, and its still ok to struggle and need help even if others have it worse too)
True🤍🙌
Yes, because we are people and we can complain about things. I have a roof over my head, but at what sacrifice? I do worry about my next meal. They are not privileges, they are life rights
Hello! Is it necessary pass the Steps to be observership??
depends on the place you are applying for observers hip
