MATOBO HILLS | BULAWAYO | ZIMBABWE
In this video we take a walk through Matobo National Park situated on the outskirts of Bulawayo, the second biggest city in Zimbabwe.
The Matobo hills were famously "found" by Cecil John Rhodes and he enjoyed sitting at the top and looking out onto the beautiful views the rocky hills generously offer.
I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and I did..

    47% for this video. Where are the African old locations, Misana yeZhou, marriage quarters, thatched bachelors quarters, old bus terminus, Farai, Sarudzai municipal drinking outlets, old shops, Runyararo West, Rhodene, new Rhodene, the roads leading into and out of Masvingo, the industrial sites roads,streets- this was a photographic disaster-47%😅🤩🤩🤠

    It saddens me so to see how my home town where I was born (62 years ago) and raised now looks like this. All because of the greed of Politicians who promised the people the world and gave them this Ruin. People used to go to Rhodesia to see the Zimbabwe Ruins, Now they go to Zimbabwe to see the Rhodesian Ruins. God Bless my home town. Maybe one day, when the politics changes it will be restored to its former glory and the peoples live enriched.

    • @missNCW
      @missNCW 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe Rhodesia was good for you because you’re white. But it’s not something romanticise. You can’t even wish that Zimbabwe was better, for the sake of being better for everyone, you can’t picture a successful Zimbabwe. you’d rather that it was Rhodesia so that it would be better for YOU. You don’t want a free and prosperous Zimbabwe. You just want Rhodesia. There’s a difference. You don’t actually want prosperity for the country. Just to go back in time 🙄

    • @missNCW
      @missNCW 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What about the greed of the white racists? Oh yeah, you don’t want to talk about that. To just pretending they were angels or that their racism and greed was somehow okay. Like those people and their descendants are not living comfortably even now, because of what they stole. But yeah act like they did Zimbabwe a favour 🙄
