wow
What congregation is this? Reminds me of "Devo Nights" we had at David Lipscomb University on Tuesday and Thursday Nights in the late 70's & early 80's. It was so beautiful!
Beautiful , absolutely beautiful
"How Absent The Father's Love."
The atrium singing is awesome.
Can he still feel the nails? No, This song takes Hebrews 6:6 completely out of context. Jesus was crucified once for all time (Hebrews 10:12-14) & in 1 John 2 we are told that John was writing “…so that you may not sin but if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”
Amen
Auburn Christian Student Center used to sing this incredibly well!
second.
Atrium sing is so beautiful. I was there. My first time.

I've enjoy the singing there voices are great
My Mother died when I was a child, she asked us to sing this song together congregationally at her funeral and it was AMAZING (we're Church of Christ, so it's always Acapella and it was so beautiful).😢 She's so missed.❤ Dad then died as well... I hope they're together and living that dream. Can't wait to see them again.🙏🏼
I walked down the aisle over 37 years ago to the church singing this song. ❤ 👰🏻
First.
I adore this song. ❤❤❤❤❤
I'm so happy I found you,
This is eyc right?
Maybe one day we will sing this hymn in Heaven..
This gave me chills🙏
I was there. The atrium signing is amazing.
Ex ICOC here, but keeping my trajectory towards God. I've been searching for all the Songs that I used to sing in the 80s and 90s, this was always one my favourites and it always sounds better the more people sing it with a strong song leader, for Sydney where I am that was nearly 1000 people in attended every Sunday, and I miss the singing of certain songs. It's amazing how the COC and ICOC sang all the same songs particularly in the 80s and 90s. God Bless.
Love this Hymn

I am playing this right now at my dad's bedside. It was his favorite hymn along with my mom. He is about to go home to her very soon.
