    So that was absolutely fascinating. Erich your story is incredible.hard to believe how diligent you are. I love how you share your perspective now with people who don’t know the things that you’ve learned. “ You hope they can make twice the money in half the time with half the effort” What an amazing testimony. What an incredible tribute to working from your strengths in a curiosity driven mindset. Imagine all the lives you’ve influenced. I remember hearing so many of these stories as they’ve played out, and now seeing pictures of the spring vacation you took. All these years of efforts are paying off as you enjoy the view out your back door and driving your jeep and working on it in that beautiful garage with the view! Congratulations! What will you do now?

    Burn out vs. being reliable contractor. One of the toughest parts of small business. The owner prides themselves on extreme reliability. This reputation leads to growth, more customers and hiring. "Reliability" is now in the hands of the team. This doesn't always go smoothly. When employees do not show up the owner works overtime to save the "reliability" reputation. We have to get to that customer, right? We can't disappoint. Over time this leads to burn-out and lack of time spent at home, with family, re-charging, etc. A proper business plan with long term goals will help. It will not eliminate all challenges. But it will help you navigate to a better business and life ultimately.
