Welcome to Ravenʼs View.
My intentions with this page are to educate, inform, and entertain. The categories Iʼll use to do this are many which may combine elements of photography, art, Alaska Native culture, wildlife, and nature as well as product reviews and testing, product unboxing, how-toʼs, DIY, travel, and everyday interesting stuff from the viewpoint of a Tlingit and Irish Raven. My Tlingit name is Yéil Yádi which means "Baby Raven" and I am of the Raven (Yéil) Moiety.
I hope you enjoy my perspective and twist on things.

Do you have actual stock numbers of both of those hats?
I love this,I am trying to teach my children this. They are Tlingit athabaskin hawaiian ❤
Ahh, mosquitoes. The true Alaskan state bird. Keeps the fish big and healthy.
Very nice hat indeed but where I am lost is in the later seasons the tip of the hat is sorta straight which I can't find any good ones like that.
You didn't tell us how to unlock the arm so that you can lift it up.
great teaching. especially pronunciation. How do you say "the" and "free" ? Seems difficult to find these two words, perhaps the language does not have a word for these two english words? What is the purpose of capital letters mid spelling of a word? Again Excellent phonetic teaching.
Looks very good!!
Hi David
Terrific job!!
I can see my house from here!
Gunalchéesh!
Newsboy cap. A friend of mine saw that style from Sanford and Son. I saw that cap from there, movies, even on The Cosby Show. But it was cool looking, got a few compliments ever since I wore one. Simple ones, baggy ones, even one from that particular brand, although I wound up with two of them.
Thank you ❤ The AKC looks so Delicious cooked both ways
Sterkowski hats ftw 😊
Great video! Helped me a lot
Exactly what I was looking for. I give this video 7 out of 5 stars!
By far the BEST EVER video i have seen❤ Gunalcheesh
My Tlingit kiddo has learned scared, I love you, and hooch from these videos I hope you start them again!
Thankfully my grandmother has taught me this as long as I can remember, as she was from Sitka and Juno. It’s one of the few phrases I know but it’s the most important 🙏🙏🙏
Awesome!
WE WANT MORE PLEASE MORE PHRASES
I visited your channel and watched some videos, the content is very impressive. But due to video optimization problems with your channel, the video is not getting viral and views, likes, and comments. Your Problems need to be fixed
The body actually has a decent bit of meat now I can’t see just getting legs only
Thanks for the Amazing video, very beautiful. I spent 2 summers in Hoonah in 1977 and 1978 living with my dad who was a Bush Pilot for ABC airlines, which does not exist anymore. ABC was based out of Hoonah, eventually my dad got enough flight time he was able to get a job at a major airline and he was an Airline pilot until he retired a few years ago. Back in the mid to late 70's there was very little tourist activity. I was 7 and 8 and my brother was 2 years younger than me and they just let us run all over the island by ourselves all day pretty much, or with local Eskimo kids we made friends with, swinging on rope swings, fishing, being afraid of bears etc, it was an amazing time.
Question what are the hours of the underground train?
I just found this but only 28 videos? You teach very well. I hope there will be more.
By all means leave all the guts and innards on the same surface you're cleaning the food on you're going to eat while you're making a video to show other people how to clean an animal and how much you don't like eating all the green stuff you're just cutting the animal on top of
Clean off the damn log what the hell are you doing
I have two caps from the peaky hat company. The tartan and the peaky apple. I love them
Subscribed....
Cool hat man.... You look Irish not gipo....
How did u kill it?
Do u eat the body?
Gunalchéesh. Tsu yei ikḵwasatéen. Just starting to learn my Native Culture. I'm glad you're doing this project of videos for those of us who can't read to speak.
Thanks for the video! I have a 2015 as well and it felt like I was going to break it! Learned a bit of a new language too! 🙂
Told ya😊
Looks good. I have 4 and want a couple more. You will, too, very soon as it just seems to be the way it goes with these caps.
haa káa ḵeiwa.aa David! Have you made a recording of the Tlingit names of the schools in Juneau? Gunalchéesh!
I dont think this works for newer leafs. You can pop off the little cover with your hands to expose the 10mm nut, and easily remove it to pull the whole wiper arm off. The whole process only took about 2 minutes once you have found your 10mm wrench.
Fantastique!
Add salt to your boiling water, so ou don't take away from the crab taste when you boil it.
Hey bro 🎉 what kind of liquid do you use to make bubbles? water and bubble bath?
Great job
A few moments later: wooooooow
whoaaaaa!!! DOGGIE!!!!
So grateful for this video. Thank you!
VERY helpful video. Thank you!
Can I ask what language you are speaking at the beginning of the video?
Well, I had to remove the wiper arm on my 2020. They made it a lil harder to do yourself, LOL. The manual actually says "bring to dealer" to replace... Seriously?? Go to a dealer to replace a wiper?!? .. I'm too much of a rebel for that! Just pop off the lil plastic housing over the 10mm nut and its easy.
Wado :)
