I been window cleaning since 2005, 2010 with a WFP system. In my opinion having both poles SLX and CLX my preferred pole is the CLX, it had a little bit of a bend over exstentions, Con roofs etc, i find the SLX to straight. Both poles are extremely light. If you have ever used the older poles aluminium, fibre glass etc.

I’ve been using Gardiner backpacks and 20 litre containers van system for years over a hose/van mounted water tank system. There are advantages and disadvantages to both,but I much prefer the backpack system.(Please don’t ever strap it to your back!)

What fittings did you buy to fit the pole to the backpack?

hardly a genuine evaluation: - if you do not pressure wash first then your chemical is partly being soaked into dirt that simple water would remove. £££ wasted. - sodium hypochlorite (bleach) with, or without, an added surfactant is a LOT CHEAPER, yet gives exactly the same outcome. (The secret is they don't tell you what its active ingredient is otherwise you'd realise you can buy the same for much less) - dwell time is all about what concentration of chemical you are using versus how long you want to spend on an individual job in order to make the most profit. Dilute it right down = leave it longer, dilute it less = quick results and time to perhaps do another job that day.

Hi mate great information, could you tell me would your 22ft pole reach a dorma window on top of a std terraced house, also how easy is it to fill the backpack with water, as the 25 litre plastic containers are quite heavy

What length hose do you have from the back pack to your pole?

Worked out of a car (VW polo) for three years. 8 25 litre barrels and a gardiner back pack. All the traditional gear and ladders on the roof. Can't complain. Run around in a Peugeot partner van now but sometimes ya can't beat the convenience of a car working in London

Nice one...I have a van mount system but thinking of buying one of these to get to those hard to reach gardens..and when I have someone else working with me..Btw I use the 25 slx carbon pole ..it's lighter but have to tighten the bloody clips up every day.. I also have a carbon phoenix pole 35f and that is so much better But to heavy for a day to day pole.only good for 3 stories. When it's time to buy another pole I'll go for 20foot phoenix carbon..
