12 - Oran Mor, Wedding Venue Video Tour (Glasgow, Scotland)
Welcome to our guided wedding venue video tour of the fantastic Oran Mor - which is located in highly desirable West End of Glasgow, Scotland.
Although Emma had been here a number of times before, it was my (Roddy) first time visiting Oran Mor and let me tell you - it really has that "Wow" factor.
The property is a converted church and is full of character. There are colours aplenty and impressive artworks and images on the walls and ceilings - it's a wedding venue that you and your guests won't forget and we're sure will impress everyone invited.
There is the main space - called the auditorium, which is capable of facilitating larger weddings and even if you are planning a small, intimate wedding, you have options here too - with the upper Gallery that overlooks the auditorium space and a private dining area in the back of the property (which I wish I could copy and paste into our own house!).

Wow that's changed a lot in fifty five years when we would walk from the camp site to the Saturday dancing in the old Nissan hut behind the hotel 😅
Wow - 55 Years, we bet there were some stories from back then! It's even changed since we filmed there 3 years ago - it was the last days of travel before we all got locked down. Hope the video brought back some memories for you and we really appreciate you commenting.

Hi Luther, it's beautiful for sure - do you happen to have any connections with Innes House or just one you'd love to see?
@@myscotlandwedding I tried to contact them into seeing the place when I get there. My ancestrial family is from the Innes house when Robert Innes Haynes had left the house in the 1700's and went to England. The family had it and then sold it. The house had been restored a couple of times I believe. After a few years of establisment, their relatives became members of the British army and one became a General. From thence, they migrated to the British Isles of Columbia and then to Boston Mass where one became Govenor, John Haynes Esquire.
My ancestors were Innes from Moray.
