What year is your V4R? I’m looking into a 2019 V4R but not sure what the differences are between like a 2019 and a 2021 for example Have you ridden an S? Heard the S is better for the streets (electronic Ohlins, more mid range torque) but honestly just love the dry clutch and theater that an R gives
@@CanIHazNumba1 mine is a 2024. I have never ridden a S but I also have heard that it is better suited for the road. People who have road both say the R is a special experience. As far as differences on the R models they have changed things internally in the engine, the winglets, the lower fairings, tank design and I know there were electronic changes. The TH-camr 650ib says the bikes feel completely different from 19/20 to the 23/24.
The engine they use on R models are the ones they use in wsbk(999cc) its got less torque than the S and base models but they have more top end power, the base model and S model got the 1100cc engine which is more suited for the streets because it has more torque and less top end power. Also the service interval on R model is shorter than the S and base models.
@ all true except if only used for road use the maintenance is the same.
buy a pinlock for your visor and dont have to worry about it fogging again
@@ddon3345 the sad part is I have one, just never put it on. 😅 thanks for reminding me I’ll have to put it on as it gets colder
If I had a BMW or a Ducati I would probably bring it to the dealer as well. But I only buy Japanese bikes and I'll happily do any maintenance myself.
it's so nice if professional can do maintenance for you. Sure it costs money but you get time and convenience out of it
Don’t be a pussy do your oil change
Just do it yourself broski, you can pick up a diagnostic tool for cheap and it'll clear the BS BMW service notifications etc, it should be able to clear the ducati too but I'm not 100% on that. Its so worth it in the long term, the amount I've saved is nuts dude enough to cover the tools tenfold 😂
@@tedstation5607 you’re right, next season I’ll probably do the back and forth all over again. 🤣 having multiple bikes I’m more than sure you are not wrong.

Hey man, I'm having issues with my purple panda at higher speeds, It just crackles and pops. Do you have any tips?
@@santiagogaming756 I resolved it for the most part. But I still have some popping once I get past a certain MPH. Check your mic position should be poking out a little bit from the cheek pad. If you have any vents by the mic close them. And the biggest issue I had was turn off the wind reduction setting on the go pro. Hope this helps!
I also got the zx6r annevirsery like the one driving with cool bike
Just a question bro how are you upshifting and downshifting without touching the clutch I’m new to this motorcycle world and still learning and would love to understand how
@@mahdialyami9452 most new bikes have what’s called a quick shifter and auto blip. So I only need the clutch going from neutral to first. After that I can shift without the clutch.
That or ref shifting also known as clutchless shifting

The two guys in front of you look slow
The rizomas work better than stock on my SP2. Just a small elbow shift and can see perfectly. The stock shake badly. I can’t ride without mirrors, rizomas for me. Not controversial at all. The manuals and engineers recommend those break in procedures for liability. This is an international product, they have cover themselves. However, it’s asinine to think that a slow proper break in is not beneficial. My dealer told me just take it easy, and do a couple of progressive pulls to about 10k here and there. I took it easy to 600, just like I did with my M1K like Brentuning suggested. Have zero issues with either of my bikes. 👍🏽
I may have to cave on the rizomas they do look really good. Completely agree with you. But I know there is a group of people who will tell you to drive it like you stole it off the lot.
Nice vid

Hi sir is choosing between the v4r or v4 sp2 and the cbr1000rr-r fireblade sp what would be the better option in terms of speed , maintenance and reliability
In my personal opinion the answer isn’t as straight forward as you may like. If you want something super reliable and cheaper go fireblade they are super nice. If you want something special and rowdy get a Ducati. It is by far my favorite bike I have ever owned. As far as a V4R vs SP2. I have never ridden the 1103CC motor. But if both are in your budget I would go V4R all day. For street use I’ve heard maintenance isn’t different between them. The main expense will be the dry clutch. I’ve seen the last 3-5K. Hope this helps!
@@smileitsdillon My only plans of using it is for city rides and street race for sure hahaha
