love all the blue! I'm currently reading All This Twisted Glory, 3rd book in the Woven Kingdom series. I think I might take a break from romance and romantasy after that though lol since I've been reading so much romance this year I'm now feeling in the mood for heavy high fantasy stories

The little tiny journal you received I would use it as a password recording book. We have so many these days and it’s so easy to forget them. I loved all you journal spreads, but probably the memories of your pussy cat in the snow. I,m in Norfolk and we only got about an inch of snow, so nothing very spectacular to record. Very envious of your stationary “bag”. I have only heard about this lucky bag this last month, so I guess I’ll have to wait until next year now. Have a great Christmas and new year x

I keep a notes page on my phone of journal page ideas, if something has inspired me or happened and I know I wont get to do all my ideas quickly. I also write quotes there too. I was only thinking I need a little notebook, so I'd definitely use it for something like that. Its too cute to keep in a drawer (and I'm definitely guilty of hoarding beautiful stationery) 😂

if you use commonplace books, maybe the small bujo you could use it for that :) or also, just a quick quotes journal. loved your video <3

What a cute spread! I have a book journal I got off of Etsy for this year but I am starting my own journal for next year and I’m so excited to do stuff like this in my own journal!

The spread looks great 😀 I do a lot of reading, but I go for crime thrillers and murder mysteries. I love the various series where I can follow the characters from one book to another.

Beautiful covers! I usually do my planning ugly, meaning that I use low quality notebooks and no decorations, sometimes I would use stickers I don't want to put in my main journal. You know how non-journaling people sometimes gift you stationery but it's not ✨aesthetic✨ haha. That stationery would end up in my ugly plannin journal while I keep my main one pretty.

I'm more of a monthly journal person but I do like how you do the weekly.

I used to keep several, separate notebooks dedicated to a singular topic like bible study, brain dumps, creative stuff, etc. I quickly got overwhelmed and abandoned those journals for a singular, everything journal. I have finished 6 journals this year so far and I absolutely love how my journals turn out. I write anything and everything, or nothing at all. I CANNOT have rules when it comes to journaling. That’s when I stop journaling entirely.

It’s definitely a Midlands thing, especially in old pit villages 😀 Although my old pit village is no longer a village, housing estates have sprawled joining villages and the local town, and what was left of the pit fields where we played as kids has now been built on too. Love the spreads by the way 😀

Your journals are so lovely! I keep my commonplacing separate, but that’s because I need to be able to reference it easily. So mine really prioritises that aspect, but commonplacing is just about collecting information you want to come back to, and that’s kept in a common place. I’ve also heard the term omnijournal, which really embodies your concept of keeping everything in the one place, using it for everything. But honestly, your journal, your rules! I keep all of my things separate, because that’s what works for me. ☺️

Agreeeed too many rules makes it less fun. I think this journal is a perfect size ! When I bought mine I did not pay attention to the size and it’s a lot smaller than I thought which leaves me with too many thought I want of jot down. But i need to finish before getting a next one. I’ve heard good Reviews about Caraval. If you want to start TOG I hear it’s best to start with the Assasin Blade, if you haven’t read it yet that would be my next series after the Empyrean😅❤
