In loving memory of Cathy, the founder of Penchant Design, we dedicate the Essential Daisy Range to her.
Cathy Clayton, the creative genius behind Penchant Design, now know as Penchant Fine Jewellery, had an enduring affection for daisies.
Her passion led her to declare: "I want a ring adorned with daisies!" This inspired her to enrol in a jewellery-making course, where she created a sterling silver band with four petite daisies, each with a touch of gold at its centre.
The daisy ring she made was an immediate success. People exclaimed: "I adore your ring! Where did you find it? You MADE it? Can I place an order?"
Since then, daisy rings have blossomed from the Penchant Fine Jewellery Franschhoek's in-house workshop, becoming one of Penchant's signature designs.
