What was the date was this video recorded and location?
@@AllenReichert-c2r February 27, 2010 Walpole, NH.
@@tommythunderhead thank you I got another question what was the temperature on that day and what causes these type of convective snow showers clouds?
@@tommythunderhead Also what time of day was it?
@AllenReichert-c2r I don't remember the temperature, but it was behind a strong storm system that had moved through during the few days prior.
@@tommythunderhead at 0:01 in the video underneath that cloud did it produce heavy snow along with a quick burst of winds?
That’s awesome!!! My birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year, we had a quick event on Saturday that gave us a little over 3 inches, put the video out of it yesterday afternoon. I sure hope we get a lot of snow this year!
Woweee...Tom...lovely video HERE.....and you have indeed....gotten a good dose of well-predicted snow at your own lovely place...5 inches...while my place had an inch of ONLY RAIN((glad no thunder while we were out for dinner in Westerly RI)))...I heard from Paul too...TYSVVVM to you both.and he seemed excited on the snow-potential for WEDs 12/4 into THU 12/5.... Anyways......cold it is..good sleeping WX...and dreaming of those Tstorms, heeheee.... I will gladly get to your nice Email twixt now and tomorrow SUN........
@LuvsTstormTapes yeah it seems like winter has arrived. Yeah it looks like a clipper system coming through late Wednesday into Thursday.
Nice TCU’s at the beginning. I miss summer already.
Quite a bit going on with the clouds this day. Nice direction shift too around 1:00
The backside of this was quite rumbly.
Nice storm…several loud cracks of thunder.
That glow!
Looks so quiet and peaceful at the lake.
Pretty cool how you, James, and I all got a thunderstorm that early morning!! These last few videos with the collage of time lapse, video, and pictures have been awesome!
@weatherwiz555 yeah I had a blast capturing the time lapse from Barnett Hill with the clouds rolling in from the valley below. The fall foliage has been amazing, too.
Great rainbow shots!!
Beautiful views! Lovely time lapse and photos.
Simply awesome, Tom...love those fast-car rides....especially in the gorgeous WX...like the one I saw at NYC's Radio City Music Hall way back on 1/10/71....even that one on the huge movie screen had me turn into a fried turnip..it was so awesome then too...Also..gorgeous shot of Mt Monadnock..the full moon and also the COMET... you got it all, Tom....awesome..!! BTW..TYSVM for the nice compliments on my 10/16/15-Tstorm video with the fall foliage/morning sun... and I will see about uploading my 10/14/24-Tstorm videos shortly.... BTW..Tom...8 years ago... on 10/22/16...you came to visit me at Penn's farm in Plainfield MA...second time too...and you also did a wonderful fast-car ride en route there FROM THEN...... but the one here...is simply oh-so-so awesome....in so MMWTO...
@LuvsTstormTapes I knew you would love the driving time lapses! Yes it was great weather, though a little chilly. But, close to 70 this weekend! This foliage this week has been awesome as well.
Wowweeee...Tom....I love those awesomed '''fast car rides'' and have been since I was all but 12....((when gas prices were all but 38.9 cents per gallon too)))...anyways.....(1).... TYSVM for the nice VCRp all IRT my wonderful motive in my having my audio CTR running all during that unexpected Tstorm from 10/14 MON morning...so it was not a total loss...the lightning/thunder from that same surprized, fast-moving Tstorm cell was still spaced apart for any good videoings --anyways---even had I been home instead of the dogwalk... (2)....gorgeous rainbow color towards the end here....wwwowweee...Tom..so glad you caught it...and (3)...exactly 9 years ago today, 10/16/15...my own gorgeous fall foliage and also dark Tstorm clouds/lightning/good thunder...!!!((you did see my such video..heeheee)))
@LuvsTstormTapes yes those were amazing videos from 9 years ago with the morning sun illuminating the fall foliage and the approaching Tstorm. Frost is expected at night for most of the week this week.
I meant ''TIME LAPSE''..oops....not ''tile lapse'' of the lovely fat car ride....((nice music too)))
Woweeee....you also had some nice thunder, Tom..an hour before mine at 200am yesterday MON 10/14.... Also lovely tile-lapse of the ''car ride'' thru the gorgeous fall foliage zones...as well as the heavy CFROPA-based rainshowers.... BTW..Tom...at 715am yesterday MON 10/14-morning, Penn and I were outside together walking her dog...then a suddenly developed NEW Tstorm caught me/us OFF GUARD...so no videoing done..but I had, I HAD my audio CTR running to capture the nice thunder rumblers...I tried to race home on foot to videotape....what was left of it...The Tstorms were also fast-movers..moving 50 mph....so it was in and out very quickly....and and and that was my 41st Tstorm of the 2024-Tstorm season..compared to only 27 Tstorms I had altogether for 2021, and 2022 and 30 for 2023...~~~!!
@LuvsTstormTapes wow that was a fast mover! At least you had a CTR running at home. The foliage is great right now. Definitely glad I captured that as well.
Awesome on the '''fast car ride'' towards this gorgeous lake with the beloved colorful fall foliage there, Tom.....and the fall foliage itself.... so glad to see NMA here...well..I got some bad news..THEY ARE...now predicting inopportuned-timed Tstorm chances for MON 10/7/24 right when Sarah and I have the scheduled skin-doctor's appointment..at 920am....IOWs...I simply cannot win.....~~!!! My only hopes for relief is that the pesky Tstorms do not form and/or I have my camcorders running both at home and inside the parked car while at the pesky skin doctor's...((and how I wish that I can cancel and reschedule...but they are NOT open on weekends..)))
@LuvsTstormTapes well I hope any Tstorms hold off until after your appointment. BTW big auroras possible tonight.
TYSVM Tom...but but alas..no guarantees of those pesky inopportuned-timed pre-CFROPA Tstorms will not hold off till after Sarah/I come home from the very pesky skin doctor's appointment...since the chances of them are valid from 900am thru 2pm tomorrow MON 10/7th......and out appointment is at 920am.... So...my best bet is for me to have a camcorder/CTR running right back at home...and also running right inside the parked car at the skin doctor''s.. I heard of the aurora chances overnight into this SUN morning..but as of 400am..I did not see any auroras as of yet....
That's the strongest since early-to-mid May, 2024!
I see you got a new commenter, ''lillypenumbrsa8724'' and maybe she had thunder last 8/7/24.... Anyways...Tom....nice in-depth still shots of the colorful aurora from ow 2 days ago...... and TYSVM for the info as to when I last saw it here...10/30/03.... Indeed...3/13/89...was the real sky show with the aurora all over the entire USA.... And Tom..TYSVM for your own noticing the 10th anniversary to the day((10 years to the day here of your current aurora TH-cam video))... when I began making audiotapes directly from TH-cam Tstorm videos....all on 9/16/14......which brought me a wonderful whole new meaning of ''taping Tstorms'' heeeheee... and I have even put some of your own awesomed TH-cam Tstorm videos onto audio...including 8/13/16.... JTNAF....
I can't believe I missed this one!
@lillypenumbra8724 yeah, I didn't expect it to be so good with the nearly full moon.
I am Tommythunderhead's real good Tstorm buddy....met off TH-cam well over 16 years ago in early 2008.... and BTW...anything special happened to you right on August 7th, 2024? ((hence your screen name number '''8724''...)) I did get a nice big Tstorm on 8/15/24...hence my Tstorm video uploads....Tom also had some duzies same day...also on TH-cam.
Amazing, Tom..that you can wonderfully ADJUST the actual TIME-LAPSED SPEED when you upload those awesomed Time Lapsed videos like this one here..I felt as if I was going for a fast fast ride while viewing those scud low clouds with the higher ones..also showed a nice wind-shift from the SE to NW...always love that wind-shift...indicating a nice CFROPA....Nice myoooozzziiiicccc too..... Anyways...today's date, 9/15..I had thunder...almost in 1989((alas...while stuck at work...yikes))....but at home, certainly in 1990 and in 2000.....Anyways....even Jason was quite impressed to have learned of my own ''editing in the lightning static pops'' techniques in my own using my old CTR as mentioned to you....via recent Emails...
Amazing that I have seen this lovely 9/9/15-Tstorm video TWICE already.....albeit I forgot that I have...but anyways....quite a nice lightning and thundery show.....as 2015 was quite a very active Tstorm season for you and me, Tom... Seems like those years ending with the numeral ''5'' have really ramped up big-Tstorms-wise...like in 1975, 1985, 1995, 2005 and 2015....
@LuvsTstormTapes indeed, 1995 had some big severe weather events and 2005 and 2015 were quite active with a few severe thunderstorms sprinkled in. Interesting seeing your previous comments from 4 years ago and 9 years ago!
2:26 cauliflower
Sorry the hum got to me.
Nice!! 👍👍
I work at sea in brazil. In tropical areas that's just how fast it builds up, always from SW to NE or W to E. Gotta keep an eye on 'em coming to you
Wowwww...Tom...nice gorgeous evolution of that big thunderhead right to your NE, E and SE..of which you got the thunder from as heard here....same day, that I got my own Tstorms....and and BTW...my own 8/26/24-Tstorm videos...ALL ALL UPLOADED.....4 clips plus also the LIGHTNING STRIKES' GRAPHICS......I have two more clips to upload soon...facing S and then W.....((nice T-head pixes from your own workplace, BTW)))
@LuvsTstormTapes indeed my camcorder had a good view of that Tstorm as it passed by a few miles to the east. You certainly got it good. I just watched and commented on your videos.
Some nice rumbles! I just put out the main footage from Saturday morning. We’ve got an interesting little set up for tonight so I’m hoping to get lucky.
Heya Jason...TYSVVVVM for the gorgeous VCRp...and I will check your channel to see if you got new uploads after 8/24/24((hence your own awesomed morning heavy Tstorm)))...... BTW..I got my own 8/26/24-Tstorm videos all uploaded.....
Another nice little rumbly cell. You hit the jackpot with these.
Nice little rumbly cell!
Pretty active second half of July for you! Was this two or three separate storms?
That was one long rumble around 5:30. I was wondering if anything had snapped around you from the previous storm. Those winds looked strong.
Sick time lapse at the beginning of the leading edge arriving!
What a sick capture of I’m assuming that was the shelf/gust front coming in around 1:10. Wind really picked up then intense rain arrived. Nice post storm sky too…very eerie
@@weatherwiz555 yup!
Wow that was some storm. That lightning was frequent and vivid with loud thunder. Trees looked to be swaying good at times and the rain…wow!
@weatherwiz555 yup, at one point you can hear a sumac tree being knocked down.
Beautiful afternoon!
Nice colorful T/L-sed scenes of the TCus and the wildfires' smoke-free, haze-free deep blue skies here Tom......nice myooosic too.... There were some isolated pop-up Tshowers not far from you also from WEDs 8/21....Anyways....for those who love NMA...the party may be over by later SUN into much of next week....as the muggies will again return...along with perhaps TH-cam-worthy Tstorms on MON 8/26((8/26...remember my awesomed Tstorms from 8/26/22...that you saw the videos of, heeheee??))
@LuvsTstormTapes It's nice and refreshing during the day, but first thing in the morning It's cold! I'm ready for some more warmth. I remember 8/26/22, had some Tstorms here as well.
awesome how to understands divine guidance? ... the angels love to cummunicate wiith music, lyrics, book titles and short lines. and clouds, etc. heed the message.
All of Coatesville was out of power for 9 hours.
Woweeee...Tom...you..also Jason and I scored big on 8/15/24.....amazing....all three of us..and nice nice shots of the storm chasings...and nice flash/thunder at the 03:45 mark..((was that Kim with you there??)).... also...gorgeous shelf cloud seen towards the end....all of which I saw on radar off TWC.....which kept me awake till 1130pm as the same cells were heading my way from your own chasings here....
@LuvsTstormTapes yup that was her. This chase was not as nasty as our last chase with the blinding rain and wind from 6/20/24. Definitely enjoyed seeing that shelf cloud. Looks like more Tstorms possible today, cold core Tstorms that is.
Wowww...Tom...what you got on video here..and nice flashers, rumblers((bright flash at the 12:09-mark))...was what I saw on TWC's radar......and glad you got all of this...as a nice CFROPA((as shown on the wind shift from the scud clouds)) showed it producing those nice Tstorms over you.... Awesome..that on 8/15/24...you, also Jason and I each '''scored a nice STAR FRAME''...in all three of us having uploaded new videos SAME DAY.....amazing... BTW...25 years ago on 8/19/99...I got in the mail a nice copied VHS-video of a huge Tstorm from this David Drummond...who videotaped a 3am incredible lightning show/tons of thunder in Odessa TX...another one from Midland TX((from 5/9/97, 6/8/97)).. and the videos are on audiotape... I will try checking out your 8/15-''storm chasing'' video...and comment.. and TYSVM for the gorgeous Email...I hear you on the ''NMA-based Halloween supplies at work''..
Nice one! Love all the thunder in this one. I’m finally getting around to uploading my footage from August 15, the part I’m gonna post this afternoon has a ton of lightning off to my west. We are in a cool but dry pattern until next week at least
@jasonsellon4270 I was cold this morning!! It was below 60 degrees! It did get up to 70 even though it was only forecast to hit 65. But as you can see the cold front definitely produced a nice squall line!
@@tommythunderhead goodness yes you certainly still did! It got into the low 60s this morning here it felt great
When I was viewing the radar...it did show yet another Tstorm cell to the NW of the one you got videooed/uploaded....so this may be the 2nd cell to your NW and N....so this could be it.... Indeed....very heavy rains and lotsa flashers from the first cell....and nice loud rumbler heard at the 10:32 mark......with nice time-lase at the very end.....and BTW..Tom..I have just uploaded the W-side versions of my same 8/15/24-Tstorms...((the ones you saw were the videos facing S.))...and amazing on the FUNNEL CLOUD that you saw and screen-shotted...same with a CG bolt from the S-facing version....)))...I got another CG facing N some 3 hours later....also uploaded.
@LuvsTstormTapes oh nice!! Yes there were some rumbles from the cell to the northwest, but that cell fell apart on the north side while the south side dived south and merged with another cell. I captured the north part of this multicell gusting out in my storm chasing video from that day.
So nice for Jason to see both of our own videos from THU 8/15/24, Tom...and comment..and here I am on yours...nice flash and crackle at the 09:46 mark..... as both you and I scored really big on THU 8/15...amazing...I saw the Tstorms right over you off TWC's radar....as those cells lasted quite a long time till they sank S to northern RI some 3 hours' later....when they finally dissipated by 11pm..!
Love the sound of that heavy rain, a few more nice rumbles as well. That heavy rain is one thing the last few storms we’ve had has really been lacking.
Definitely a nice storm here, ton of thunder!!!
Sweet, I’ve got a chance of storms tonight, so I’m hoping for something
Wowwweeee...Tom...right at your own workplace too...a small funnel-like cloud as annotatedly shown....and then right back at home...possible rumbler heard and a nice long time-lapsed scene of those clouds right up to past sunset...with relaxing myoooziiikkk... Anyways...yesterday, 8/10..I had some real cool THIHs of past Tstorms ((1979, 1994...wonder if you got to see them??)))....and also come 8/13/24...the 8th anniversary of your own marathon awesomed 8/13/16-Tstorms and the awesomed videos((of which I was able to put all onto audiotape...years before those such infuriating video ads came along much later on..)))...anyways....good sleeping WX for much of this workweek....and I was looking forward to that.... and oah..when I do my 8/11-THIHs..I got some nice past THIHs.....hope you can get to those.
Nice nice convo twixt you and Jason, Tom..LUVs it...!! I am now watching part 1 here....and and now...AWESOME on that very closeby CG-bolt, lightning pop static and also that very quick big tearing thundercrash...Tom...at 04:47... WWWWOWWWWWWW....!! YGIM YGIM ((You've Got It Made)))...and whattahhhh blinding downpour for quite a while HERE....BTW..I was right outside of my then-home when a CG-bolt hit exactly 38 years ago today on 8/7/86....in Port Washington LI NY..((they had almost 6 inches of rain just yesterday late-afternoon....in stalled-out Tstorms on 8/6/24...))...Fortunately....I had my audio CTR running to capture the big thundercrash .... very same day, 8/7/86...tornadoes struck near the Providence RI area....Anyways....possible new Tstorm chances when TS Debby comes near on FRI 8/9 into SAT 8/10....with very heavy rains possible for flood-ravaged Vermont..Meanwhile...lotsa nice residual loud thunder peals long after that CG and downpours HERE....and nice T/Lp-sed images too....as YGIM...heeeheeee..
@@LuvsTstormTapes yeah I'm so glad I caught that! Debby is affecting us exactly a month after Beryl. Vermont just can't catch a break.
Some more nice loud rumbles in this one too!
