Well done! Set some aside in case you have vehicle issues.
For sure! Thanks for the view and comment.
Slavery of 20 th
Dude, shhhh..........the IRS is listening and they are trying to pay down the deficit
😂
Where do you get an $800 van?
I got it in Michigan. There was some amount of luck involved. I saw it the same day it had been listed, and as with a lot of cheap vehicles, everyone else was trying to get him to sell it even cheaper. I came with cash ready to buy it at his asking price. The van had about 330,000 miles on it when I bought it, and lots of rust. It was owned by another business before I bought it, and he had gotten more than his money’s worth out of it and was ready to sell it at a pretty low price. The previous owner knew that it was ugly, had extremely high miles and needed some TLC, but it was a functioning van for $800 so I made my move and bought it after a short test drive.
Keep it up!
Thanks Mike
Bro you gonna have to start wrenching and keep improving on it if you don't want to lose it to mechanics
Thanks, don’t worry, I only went 50 miles over or so
Nice one my friend
Thank you!
happy christmas bro
Thank you man!
I appreciate the tranquility of your videos. Starting a business isn't something you would call tranquil, but it is enjoyable to watch.
Thanks, I really appreciate hearing that! I probably would not have thought of that word myself, but I definitely take it as a compliment and something that I would like to maintain in the tone of my business and my videos.
This chick reminds me of of Teresa Taylor, from the butthole surfers, when she was in the movie Slacker haha
Haha, no idea on any of that but she was fun. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you!
You’re welcome! I’m glad my very quick video was still helpful.
You got it moving forward! Nice.
Thanks, appreciate you!
Keep it up!
Thank you!
still shipping the plane?
Yes! I have not yet found a definite load going up to Alaska, but I’m planning to ship the plane.
I like come back stories, inspiring , so I subscribed to watch your journey.
Thanks, I hope it doesn’t disappoint!
Exciting stuff! Keep up the great work, I'm enjoying following your journey.
Thank you! This is a nice time to get that encouragement.
You can do it man!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!
Good luck bro!
Thanks, I appreciate the view and the comment!
Good luck man
Thank you!
How nice to see those OES stars :) my lodge is trying to start a chapter
Hi! I really don’t know anything about the stars or the organization, but I wish you luck with the chapter you are starting!
Great job of bootstrapping the business along. Keep cost low. Down the road I see you having a small fleet of vans!
Thanks! Appreciate the encouragement.
I don't know where your home turf is but you could look into driving for other courier firms. I know in NJ, Econo-Courier and DC Express are always looking to add more sub-contractors to their fleets.
I am in middle of nowhere Michigan! But thank you for the view and the comment.
YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks man!
Bravo on getting that heavy sink out of the van, that didn't look fun
Haha, it took a while but it really wasn’t too bad.
And thank you!
@@senditdelivery no problem. Good luck on the journey I'll be watching along
👍 stay your course slow and steady
Slow and steady wins the race. Thanks!
keep going
Thanks!
if you do the teaching job you can't make adventure videos though, dude. This job will build a TH-cam following eventually, the descriptiveness of your narration is too good not to catch on. Just stick with it brotha, soon ill be saying I was watching that guys videos when he only had 150 subs
Thanks man, I appreciate the subscribe and you taking the time to share your thoughts. These are more honest, thorough videos and it is great to get the feedback that you like the format.
Some of the audio in this is kind of trippy, sounding distant when the camera is close on the subjects i love it lol reminds me of the good old psychedelic days haha
😆 I wasn’t going for that but I love it!
You do you bro, the algorithm has blesses you
Haha, thanks. It definitely seems that this video got more promotion than others and it was cool to see the spike in subscribers.
Dude idk why your video popped up in my feed but that must mean it’s meant to be for me to watch it. And many others too. Don’t give up on any of this! Keep going and never stop. It’s cool to watch someone else reach their goals it’s inspiring
Thanks man. I hope that the journey takes me places that I want to go and that it inspires others. I appreciate your comment!
Hey man. Your video showed up on my youtube feed...I hope all the best for you. Keep moving forward. You got this. We all learn through our life's journey. Good luck.
I really appreciate you taking the time to send an encouraging comment. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. It is helpful.
Thanks! I’m sure there is more on the subject that I’m not aware of… But I hoped to give you a few things to consider that I didn’t know when I first started.
Love how you made it so much more easier to put air in the tire by going through the hole in the beds side panel
😆
it depends. llc is the better option and you can still get a sole member llc but of course yes, there is more effort involved and usually a bit more money sometimes and is the preferred options especially if you plan on having employees. if you are a small gig worker of sorts and do things almost entirely on your own then sure. being just "self employed" vs being a business owner is better. that being said, it still depends on what you are doing. the last thing you want is to be held personally liable for the stuff you do if the risk is high.
Good point - after a bit more thought, I realized there are circumstances and people for whom an LLC makes more sense. My thoughts were directed more at people who, like me, are forming single member LLCs that are basically indistinguishable from themselves as individuals.
Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry that you're going through such a terrible time! Unfortunately, many people use online services to create their LLCs, but they don't get legal advice in learning how to properly run it. It's like getting the keys to an F-16, but having no idea how to fly. You're right that your LLC will need a licensed attorney to represent it in Court. You can personally represent yourself in Court, but you cannot represent another (including the LLC). Many people do not hire attorneys to help them set up LLCs because there is a cost associated with it, but that's just the cost of doing business that you must prepare for when setting out on your own venture. I've seen LLCs save people MILLIONS in personal liability over the years due to a failed business, which kept food on the table and a roof over the head during rough times. The reason you create an LLC is so it can take the fall while you move on with your life if the business fails.
Thank you for your kind, thoughtful and detailed reply! I am beginning to realize that yes, there are circumstances and people for whom an LLC makes sense. For someone like me, an individual with very few assets at the time of going into business, let alone the ability to pay a lawyer to assist in the process, I simply don’t think it makes sense. My understanding is that my Homestead and my personal daily driver can’t be taken away as the result of a claim against me, and besides that I am in an industry where I am required to carry very high levels of liability and cargo insurance. If I really got into some kind of major trouble, I’m sure that a good lawyer could find a way to direct the lawsuit against me personally despite the existence of my LLC. Or they could name both the LLC and me personally in the suit. That would be the worst case scenario; if I didn’t have an LLC at least only one version of myself could be tried, because let’s be honest, the LLC is just me with a different name. I don’t mean to be argumentative and I really do appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and write out a thoughtful response. I am trying to express a reality that may be very difficult to envision from your end: while a good lawyer may be worth every penny that they charge and then some, it is simply not an expense that is attainable for everyone and to consider it a necessary cost of doing business would be to say that to people below a certain financial means simply cannot start a business at all. Although I am considering the wisdom of starting a business only after having a significant savings from other work, I hesitate to accept a system in which less wealthy individuals who want to be self-employed either cannot be or are victimized by those with more wealth and power. I have a personal moral compass that tells me that if I actually caused millions of dollars in damages to someone, and did not have insurance that should rightly cover it, I would do everything in my power to make things right whether or not I had an LLC that I could just shut down. I didn’t form an LLC as something to hide behind when rough times came, I formed it because I thought that was the proper thing to do if I was going to be serious about my business. So far, it has been more trouble than help.
Their lawyers are going to bury you, I can tell you're over your head. I graduated business school but even lawyers don't represent themselves, if a lawyer won't take your complaint on a deferred payment case you don't have a case. Please don't make such ignorant decisions.
What exactly is the ignorant decision here? Do you want to represent myself in court?
@@senditdelivery Representing yourself in court, the insurance company has an entire defense team on staff.
@@senditdelivery you've received good advice about LLC's but you refuse to listen to it. Also representing yourself is a fools decision. They have a legal team on payroll. If a lawyer wont take your case on a % basis, meaning no upfront cost, then you don't have a strong case. I want to see the little guy win, but you seem to be your own worse enemy in decision making.
It's ok here I think lives here whole life..
The instructions I said that you didn't have to jack it up. However it does talk about removing over 12 different connectors and fasteners and plastic fasteners to take the assembly off around the light just to change it which is utterly ridiculous.
Agreed!
Beautiful video. Very interesting.
Thank you!

Those JD400 series are the best tractor in their class…I had a 455!..loved that tractor!..I would love to find a low hour 4 wheel steer model!…mine was a diesel…super good on fuel!..the gas ones like this one were amazing too!!
He loves it
Didn’t know there was a diesel - I bet that one is awesome!
@@senditdelivery there is a 425, 445, and 455…the 455 has a 22hp yanmar diesel!!…it was ridiculously good on fuel…I don’t have a huge yard but it’s not small either…it took me roughly an hour to mow the whole thing in one shot…one tank of fuel would pretty much get me through the whole year!..great tractor and there’s still lots of them around!!…it looks like your dads tractor is mint!!
That’s great to hear. He usually does a lot of research before he chooses something and wait for the right one.
Hilarious! 😂
Sorry, what’s funny?
This is an impressive use of what otherwise would be scrap metal. Good work!
