My name is TacEeyore and I am a War Thunder player that likes to hunt ghosts from time to time. I served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years and have transitioned out. I am a POG who was an artillery observer and a JTAC. I completed two combat tours in Afghanistan, both Operation Enduring Freedom, with the infantry and one tour to Iraq, which would later be referred to as Operation Inherent Resolve. My goal is to create a tactical team that shares my joy in conducting combat simulations and playing video games all while having a blast. So gear up, join the squad, and get to HUNTING! Double Nuke!
Getting a nuke is the ultimate accomplishment in War Thunder. However, your team can top that by getting two nukes! That is exactly what happens in this game! Our team took to the sky with two nukes and I was one of them! I never thought that this day would come! I didn't even plan this at all and logged in to just accomplish my dailies. I got more than I bargained for!

@@fefferenand its an unwritten rule to not shoot the nuke because its a hell lot of work to even get there and its an asshole move to just delete all this work by simply shooting down the nuke bomber, even if it is just randomly hitting the pilot.
@@BogWarThunder yes, it is good to not shoot the nuke plane, nobody who plays the game actually gives a shit about others rewards, they'll do it anyway.
@@fefferen i played the game for some time and i would never dare to shoot the nuke bomber despite the rewards. If somebody did all that work they shall finish what they had started and nobody shall cut that line.

Nukes wouldn't blow up like they normally do if shot with anything other than a critical uranium/plutonium slug or a very precisely timed set of detonations from shaped charges placed around the uranium/plutonium core all set to detonate inwards forcing the uranium/plutonium to start the fusion chain reaction. So although it's cool in a video game, it's not realistic.
Speaking of your last statement, nah DER! Besides it looked low enough to detonate on its own as nukes explode mid air not in impact would’ve been the better thing to say.
@@cyanicspectreskittleinc.9549maybe with modern nukes but for the atomic bombs they were placed on a fuse or it was just button press detonation, so the crew of the Ebola gray could’ve easily letter the bomb drop into the ground and then detonate it.

@@JayR220 there’s many reasons to have it explode mid air rather than on the ground and one huge one being the fallout and also the shockwave outside of the inner most part of the explosion.
