Nice helicopter flight in a Kawasaki-BK 117 B-2. I asked the pilot to make it a bit more than just a sightseeing flight....he was happy to oblige :-). Recorded during the Free to Fly parachute days at Henry Alwies Airstrip in Saramacca, Suriname.

Look so nice
Love to hear old radial engines on the agcat
This is why the Twin Otter is one of my favorite aircraft.
I like the look of old gliders
Got to love AG Cat dont use them were I live at in Louisiana no more .🤠
Ke hermoso video!!! Gracias por compartir
Cats are king!
Not cool, the lady could equally have witnessed the glider spinning in nose first. Shudder
damn i wish a airline in the U..S flew Islanders. would love to get hours on this before i get on something bigger
I don't know the reason why this kind of Cessna grand caravan plane has no game simulator made for it Is there a game available for this Cessna grand caravan in the play store app for Android play ?
Phrogs Phorever
Jesus..after watching the first landing again it really looks like the pilot misjudged the approach and forgot there was a fence in the way... Seems like a panic pull up and much too high. Then almost a stall just before he touched down....
I’m sure the locals were as thrilled as I was when Ag Cats buzzed by when I was on a Cat D7 50 years ago.
These aircraft are impressively economical to operate.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
vraagje, bestaat deze plek nog om te kunnen vliegen? dank
Congratulations for your national holiday on 25th November Suriname from your friends in Germany <3 Suriname is a beaufitul country with nice landscape, charming people and such a nice culture. I´m really proud to call you our friends. Best wishes for the future from your friends in Germany <3
Vol et musique (awol nation)
My first single seater glider was an ask23, its an awesome plane i sadly never flew an k8
Gene Soucy would be impressed.
Winch launch, something I've never done. They say it created better pilots because you can't be towed into a thermal.
Beautiful!
Lindos
Good. Pilot. Beatifuld.. con. Gratuletion A. Pilot.
Good video and nice greetings from germany :-)
Prachtig
These idiots cause bulletins to come out.
That airplane is obviously overloaded. I don't know what operator this is, but they need to be investigated.
Lol you dont know anything at all
A solid forgiving aircraft i owned in 1993 loved it
Over stressed the front wheel both landings
0:38 Goat sound.
Haha, yeah thanks dude.
I grew up on the farm and always love to watch these planes at work. At 25 gallons an hr. it get's expensive to run these radial P&Ws but damn they run so much better than the turbines LOL
The big turbine planes can use 100 gallons an hour but I think they get more acres done per hour and get more time before overhauls are due
Love the radial engines! Grumman designed a winner here.
most extraordinary.
In Germany we call it: "KLAPPEN RAUS!! KLAPPEN RAUS!!"
good job.
Great video, is it a P&W 985 or 1340 powering you?
1340 straight shaft
I don't know why I like this type of aircraft and convert it to a camper. I mean " flying camper " can go around places in remote areas. I love camping.
Aaaaaaand i want this job now
nothing will ever take the place of the sound of the ole radial engines
what a fool. better, you learn to fly...👎
Chapla best glider for training I was fly in 1970 with she.
Takeoffs are optional Landings are compulsory
My first solo was in a short wing Kookaburra, off a winch launch.
Isn't it a two seater?
Looks like a K13
K13 have the wings in the centre of the fuselage. I guess Your guess is from the same nose.
Man! I soloed for the very first time in a Ka-7. Loved that machine! That was......1974! Fond memories!
Same for me. Unfortunately, our club Ka-7 got drifted too far downwind by a novice pilot and ended up landing on a house roof. I say "landing" because they say it's a landing if you can walk away. On this occasion the pilot was able to climb through the upstairs bedroom window so I guess that counts.
Nope, don’t fancy any of those landings....
Gots to love Ka8's, sadly glue issues will be the end of them.
elaborate
What a crap pilot...
Too high and too fast....doesn't really matter in a De Havilland.
