Bangkok's best temple? Thailand travel vlog
มุมมอง 314ปีที่แล้ว
Bangkok is back in our second video from the capital of Thailand. In today's episode, we explore Wat Traimit - famous for its enormous Golden Buddha - before heading to my favourite temple in the city, Wat Saket - the Temple of the Golden Mount. We also check out Sampeng Market, the floating market at ICONSIAM mall, and Chatuchak Weekend Market. On top of that, we'll see the notorious Khao San ...
Bangkok | Thailand (Did we get scammed?)

Bangkok: the big mango, the capital of Thailand and - for the next few days - home! From our base in Sukhumvit, we visit the monitor lizards at Lumphini Park, catch a boat ride down the Chao Phraya River, explore The Grand Palace, and get spiritual at the temples of Wat Pho and Wat Arun. Then we #FindTheLockerRoom at the city's coolest speakeasy. But I've paid over the odds for something, and i...
The town where the royals lost EVERYTHING | Worcester, England
มุมมอง 1072 ปีที่แล้ว
Worcester is a cathedral city, home to many fine things (and also the Worcester Warriors rugby team). But what many people don’t realise is that this is where England became, for the first and only time in its history, a republic, with the royal family fleeing for their lives. Join me today as we recount the dramatic final scene of the English Civil War, which toppled the throne and left Britai...
Eastnor Castle: This place is NOT what it seems | Herefordshire, England
มุมมอง 7122 ปีที่แล้ว
Eastnor Castle is a magnificent castle dramatically situated in the foothills of the Malverns. Or at least that's what the Herefordshire tourist board says, but look up close and you'll notice there's something a little off about this country pile. Four Waterfalls Walk | Brecon Beacons, Wales (DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE)
มุมมอง 4.9K2 ปีที่แล้ว
The Four Waterfalls walk is a enchanting woodland hike in the Brecon Beacons. At least it is for most responsible adults and even children. Unfortunately I am neither. This is about my day-trip to Wales from the Malvern Hills and includes some very handy advice on how to not get killed by the challenging activity of walking. Oh, and I doubt they'll ever see this, but to the lovely Jewish family...

I was in York the other week and the shambles is fucking crawling with them, theres about 5 of them on one tiny little street
The Shambles is the single worst location for it in the country. It's got to be.
@havisiting Edinburgh is awful for it, it might be worse honestly
@@joshmore7175 I'm proposing a 100% tax rate for every HP shop in Edinburgh
It's a real plague in Edinburgh... Pushing out cute handmade shops and takeaways, and having shops selling the.same.thing. in every one of them. There is a couple cute witchy shops, unrelated to HP, far of the beaten track. But the main streets are swarmed.
Not Edinburgh too! Inescapable!
Shakespeare, a writer of stories. That were performed on stage. J.K Rowling a writer of stories that were made into films. Two writers And go into Shakespeares shop. There whoring merchandise too. Enough said🤪

This is so true, but love my scenic 🤣
It goes from 0-70... eventually
@havisiting i got a 1.9dci so it shifts fairly quickly for its size to be honest, however i do love a peugeot easy enough to work on and service ect
I've got no complaints, plenty of room with the top box
@@havisiting thats my next purchase next year, a roof box.
Our road trip in this car is now online! Watch it on this channel
I was looking for youtube videos for this walk [done it a couple of times], I've not been there in a few years. But your video reminds me of the first time I went. Maybe 25 years ago? I remember scrambling along a steep path to try and get to the last waterfall on what would have been the old paths/tracks [and a lot less people about back then], and sliding down the hill towards the drop off and grabbing a bush. I didn't have walking boots on, and thought "this is too sketchy". These days, walking boots and a view is never worth risking an accident.
Your videos are such good quality, your editing is great as well! Underrated channel!!
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!
Happy to be the 100th subscriber!!!
Glad to have you here!
Great video. Heading to UK from Texas in a few weeks. This was the best video I found for how to visit Stonehenge for free. Uncomplicated with shots of street signs for reference and a good tip for American drivers about not turning right across traffic because we do that in my neck of the woods, lol. Thanks!
Hope you have/had a great trip!
I want to make a walk to the last one again 😊💚
There is a big civil war reanactment over may bank holiday just outside Ledbury at much marcle if your interested
Thank you for sharing. Could you share the coordinate where you park?
I think it’s roughly 51.1798640, -1.8300779
Thanks for posting this. Many years ago my wife and I did this walk. Dispite warning signs we stupidly decided to follow the old trail you referred to. As a person who had done scrambling in Snowdonia, "How hard can it be" I thought. Well I soon found out. In one particular place it was very very dangerous. My foolhardy attitude (unlike me normally), put us both in danger. Apart from that it was a great walk.
Believe it or not somebody died on this hike a while back!
Fabulous walk you did. I have a little hint which you might like. When I stop and put my rucksack down I always put my 'stick' through the straps of my rucksack so that I can't forget it! I hope you like my suggestion
Top idea!
Great video! Liked and subscribed :)
Thanks Layla!
🤩
my aunties unfortunatley made a mistake in theses waterfalls they where amazing people and im proud to have called them family i will never get over it💔
Both aunties, you say? Well
@@havisiting whats wrong with that?
@@owennathan19 what’s wrong? It’s deeply unfortunate. I’m sure you agree. My condolences
Idiot! Might help if you learned to read an OS map and study it before you set off. People like you made me retire from mountain rescue.
People watching this visit in 2022: let me know if you’ve got any questions! A day trip from Kyoto to Hiroshima-Miyajima is surprisingly straightforward!
Found your video really useful👍🏻 Only found out about these falls recently and planning a trip very soon.
Thanks! Have a great trip. And stay on the path!
In any walk if you do your research it goes a long way. There is another car park which you could've taken and in your case probably an hour out of your adventure.
Sensible, even with the humblest of hikes!
Hello my friend am in for the support to your channel found your channel @Karl Watson am afam of that channel from Kenya 🇰🇪, I have watched your video, subscribed and liked 👍
Thanks for stopping by!
Yes, the same thing almost happened to me at Hardrath Force in N. Yorks (high on the remote border almost with Cumbria). After a heavy rainfall period, all those bare rocks you see in your video will be well under water. And in my case, I ended up beside the nearest thing I've ever seen in this country to Niagara Falls, which I had to scramble up the dripping slippery side to get out. Any waterfall after a heavy rainfall period can increase to at least four times the ferocity, possibly more.
The word waterfall does somewhat imply a sudden change of height, so climbing is sometimes on the cards! At least I was blessed with clear weather
😂😂😂 I'm glad you went back for stick
Don't tell anyone, but me too 😂😂😂
I’ve driven past that track so many times and wondered about that being the best place to park. There’s always vans up that track so I wondered if that’s where people watch over it. Thanks for this video I’ll give it a go
You're very welcome!
I grew up in these amazing surroundings, I live in Canada now and miss it so much.
It’s a pretty part of the country, for sure
There's an easier 3 waterfall walk not far away from there in pontneddfechan.the falls are just as good but the path is easier and can see all 3 in an hour and a bit.
Thanks for the heads up! Though I’m sure I’d still find a way to make it last five hours 😅
Starts from the angel pub so easily done
Puritanic supremacy. Philip Gossin's book, talking about banning poet, piper and player from the country. 'Prepare for the kingdom of heaven' World is devi's snare.
Freemasons drinking blood from a skull above the feathers.
Soz Beki, I’m off with Mike on the waterfall hunt.
This might be the first time somebody actually did let me know down in the comments 😂
If approaching rom the East as in the video rather than make the dangerous maneuver of crossing two lanes of traffic it is far safer to continue to the roundabout a short distance to the West and do a U turn and approach from the West and make a left turn. It is also worth noting that when exiting the byway onto the A303 you can only turn left, this will take you to another roundabout.
I'm from ledbury
I now live in Australia at the at a young age
One of these days I’ll get out to Australia! Would love to see Uluru
Great viewing!
It’s not on many bucket lists but it has its charms!
I came to this video for a quick trip down memory lane. It was really nice. Thank you.
Thank you!
You are a fan vlogger. And I love your penchant for all liquor things Japanese!!!
For relaxing times, make it Suntory time!

I love your addiction to Highball cans!!!!
Haha first thing I do when I make it back to Japan is hitting Family Mart and grabbing a highball. I can’t replicate the taste at home!
@@havisiting I know I love them too!! I just love the beer selection. Also, how cool and retro is the asahi bar. I even dragged my better half to the Kirin brewery out of Kyoto from memory. It was a fair hike.
Hello, a great vlog, would you remember the name of the Ryokan Hotel you stayed?
Certainly! It’s the Kitanokaze Saryou
@@havisiting thank you so much, we just watched your Japan series. Isn't it an enchanting place. Tokyo is mind blowing. Planning a trip back in the new year, hopefully, and the Ryokan you stayed looked great. Please keep doing your vlogs, they are fantastic, and my wife said you and I are very similar, trying and drinking all. Conceivable alcoholic beverages.!!
Thanks so much, it means a lot. I still watch these videos back a lot myself, every time I miss Japan. We’ve got a son now so I only get a couple of hours a week to work on them, but there are more coming - lots more, eventually! Have a great time in Japan. It’s a great place for the discerning imbiber! I’d love to take our little one there some day
@@havisiting imbibing :). Congratulations on your the birth of your son. Will keep watching from Australia and I'm sure you will get back to Japan. Great video, grew up in Tewkesbury and recently moved to Ledbury. Very nice to have a well made informative video about it's history.
Very kind of you to say! Thanks
Hi .. Can people go up and touch the stones like in your video if they pay? It is a lifelong ambition of mine to see Stonehenge and don't mind paying if I can get a closer look.
English Heritage doesn’t like people touching the stones, but you can get closer and stand among them if you pay. Perhaps you can attempt to reach out and touch them, but the wardens might tell you off if you do
awesome intro! How do you get those circle videos?
You mean like the one seven minutes in? I have a 360 cam. I waste a lot of time keyframing but I like the outcome!
Your face says you didn't care for the grits. I'm also not a fan.
It’s alright. A bit like what we call rice pudding here in the UK. Didn’t excite me but didn’t have me wretching either!
Love NOLA, thanks for the video.
Thanks for tuning in! It’s my favourite city in the States
I LOVE Primark!!! 🤑
My husband’s grandparents used to live near Taunton!
This is funny... the first video of yours I’m watching. I just subbed 👍
Honestly, it's not my finest work haha. And I fear I've been a little unfair to Taunton. I'm not sure my hometown would be much fun if somebody showed up with an hour to spare and no idea how to spend it!
So envious, always wanted to go to N'Orlins but never been. Looks like a right laugh.
It's a wonderful place. I've been lucky enough to visit a few places in the US and New Orleans is hands down my favourite
Cornwall: So good, you’ll find it impossible to leave.
*sigh* I guess we'll just live here as fisherfolk
Agree! While I was still there I started planning my next trip! So many things I didn’t get to do and see!! 🙌
I went to Paris with my Pastry Chef wife and Oh. My. God. I was wonderfully happy to be dragged from one amazing patisserie to another and it was worth every mile. I honestly think we ate better in some random restaurant we stumbled upon in Paris than Michelin Plate restaurants in some other countries.
Honestly, Paris is a city that is tasted as much as experienced!
Wonderful views in a beautiful day!!! Great ride!!! I am jealous...it is so much cold here 🥶 If you find some free time check my channel too ❤️😊
