I'm Lu the travel nurse, and these are my adventures across the USA in my RV with my cat, Virgil. I'm a New Orleans native who lives in Colorado. Between contracts, my favorite therapy is hitting the trails with my horses and friends, and I cannot resist a great microbrewery, glass of wine...or any nerdy conversation about Star Wars, D&D, etc.
Traveling is a wonderful way to explore new places, experience different cultures and create lifelong memories. It offers plenty of opportunities for personal growth and discovery, and I get to do it for a living!

Bird's Eye Exploration of Grape Creek
Enjoying this beautiful hidden gem with a curious railroad history. This rugged canyon is located in Cañon City and was home to the Denver & Rio Grande narrow gauge Grape Creek line in 1881. It was a short-lived endeavor with repeated flood destruction before D&RG threw in the towel and abandoned the line, which has been long since destroyed.
