Shot is fired but the sound took about 7 seconds to reach me. I turned off camera about 3 seconds after the shot, then heard it and turned the camera back on. Filming at first light and 1.5 mi away.

Neat rock near Congress Arizona. I read it was done long ago for the benefit of train passengers that pass right next to it.

Silly doe walked with us half way up a mountain.. Spent almost 20 minutes with us. She even flagged and trotted off only to return about a minute later. Josh is using "Nose Jammer" and I have serious doubts that it has anything to do with this encounter but I have never seen anything like it before. If it is the reason behind her behavior, this would be one of the best ever endorsement videos.

The sounds are cute but the situation clearly is not. Baby separated from mama is not a good thing. When newborn, mom and dad always stay very close. Don't know what happened here.

Javelinas are really gamey and dont taste like pork at all. They're also surprisingly lean, unlike pigs. All in all, they would make for terrible BBQ. Feral hogs make for better BBQ and unlike javelinas, you dont even need a license for hunting them
