I’m a TH-camr who enjoys Speedrunning SRB2. I usually love to run individual levels in record attack, but I also love to do any% as well. Occasionally I’ll play some other games like Fortnite and whatnot, so I may upload some stuff like that too.

Gonna be getting back into ultimate, I have a pretty bad time, but I know I can lower ultimate mode runs now for sure. Just working on uploading some safe and somewhat fast routes for some levels for now I guess. I don't know what to say about this one. I spent so many weeks, days, and hours at a time trying to get this sub 20 I never would have expected to bring it this low. Another 10 seconds can be saved on acz1 or so and sub 1 can save another 5. I believe I also missed double jump on erz1 so that could get around 51-55 if I hit that. Definitely believe that a sub 19:15-19:30 is doable with a flawle...

It'll be like that sometimes lol. But yea run was pretty awful. ACZ1 will save so much time and dsz xD.
I'd personally recommend folks bounce on the speed shoes and not crawla for ultimate mode. It's a lot safer, the enemy can get weird hitbox and kill you and is trickier for newcomers than it looks, plus the shoes will speed up whirlwind section after it a bit rather than having to charge a spin
Pretty interesting whirlwind less route. I haven't checked the normal run in a long while but us the second turtle jump faster than getting the first whirlwind for the normal route? If so I wonder if I try to learn that route and then grab the second whirlwind for a spindash jump 🤔
@@baguette995 well this was done mainly for ultimate route, since in ultimate mode the shield isn’t there for acz1. The turtle bounce after first turtle is faster than shoes, but still could take shoes. Either way you’ll have to do the little climb section at bridge to get across the gap. For normal runs windshield grab to bridge is faster and shoes or turtle route would be fine.

@@ProbablyAlmond No problem. If the 2nd turtle is causing problems you can also take the speed shoes way to get across as well

It's super rare to get this turn around haha. Over all the hours that I've played this game I believe this was the first time this happened to me.
This means that theoretically, you got the last possible angle to jump on to the other rail without slamming into the wall, meaning you were just barely angled enough to be considered going the other direction, but momentum and slopes pushed you the right way.
@@SmashCrafter321 yea someone in the discord mentioned it being the last possible frame to get pushed up like that.

Hi bro, how to keep the drift speed in jumping and flying, I'm trying not to fail, can you tell me how to do it?
@@foxmen1914 for default controls on ps4 controller it’s square. I believe the default on pc is shift or whatever the drift keybind is. Been a while since I played mouse and keyboard for rocket racing.you basically drift and then flip to help keep the speed, but you also want to hold that drift button down while doing so.

what strats were used to drop this by 17 whole seconds, jeez congrats, hope you can get it even further under in the future
Unfortunately I didn't get a 1:13-1:15 for dsz2 xD, but ye most strats were safe for the most part. It's also just a lot of consistency and safer strats. Also had a 1:51 I believe for erz2 which is crazy good but I still try to aim for a 1:44-1:46 time. I did have the sub 1 for thz2, but you don't really need that sub 1 to get a sub 20, but it does help in case you need to make a few minor mistakes here and there. I should add, that there is a strat that can save some time in acz1 where you do turtle skip with monitor bounce, can end up getting you closer to a 42 time. Would save about another 10 seconds ish.

Yo what do you think is the best the best way to get good at rocket racing fast - I started playing 4 days ago and I just hit unreal #300 but I’m still getting destroyed by the B hoppers
@@F2.Skibi-D pretty much takes some time to practice certain tech and making sure you can get it nailed down in practice and ranked. For the Bhops I still can’t get them exactly perfect, but you do just have to get the feel for them with the air roll honestly. I also look at some of the wr runs and try to mimic what they do on Speedrun.com

Funnily enough the route I’m going for can get to a sub 20 and even wr time. I still think there’s 15-30 seconds after sub 20 to get if you go for all the fastest cycles and perfect levels.
