Hey. I’m Daz.
During the day I’m a high school principal but dream of the perfect round of golf.
Started uploading videos for two reasons…
1) my students dared me.
2) I thought it would be fun for my own kids to have some archives for when I’m gone.
I live in New Zealand - the greatest country on earth (at least per capita).
When I'm not playing (bogey) Golf- I like watching Golf.
I am known for producing (slightly) above average banter.
I also like parentheses.

@@dazwarburton it is a course that makes you want to go back, just to try and do better. I haven’t felt that with other resort courses, if you can all Kinloch a resort course….
I want to go back even after losing six balls! I was 99 teeing it up on the last, the chef came up on a golf cart with food and beers, he told us he had dropped some so they might be a bit fizzy 😂 I will be more strategic next time , if that’s possible! Brutal course

@@dazwarburton can’t remember, hardly saw anyone else on the course, I think Hamilton and Auckland were in lockdown, it should be permanent for them 😂, under 5 I’m sure

Thanks bro. I use shot tracer for ball tracking. Makes it far more interesting for the viewer.
congrats on your clubs very nice i am playing the stealth irons and thinking of going to Takomo 101's or the 101T's i am a 7 handicap and 59 years old need all the help I can get lol how are you liking the clubs ? are you hitting them high ? good distance ? do they feel soft or firm ? cheers from Vulcan Canada
For 7 handicap I would go 101T but maybe consider your shaft flex. I get great height as I have have the Tour Lite shafts. I wouldn’t say they are soft or hard… good balance. Distances are bang on and don’t “jump” much.
I’m 52 and live in the Midwest here in the states. Would love to have a track like that to pop onto. Enjoying your channel. Might give those 101T’s a look as well. Take care

How long until you get to play again?
@@dazwarburton Well, actually I am trying to play tomorrow. It will be the first time this year as the circumstances should not be that bad - around 8 degrees Celsius. But for the same part in one week we can have 15 cm of snow like we had one week ago. So the situation is dynamic... 🙂

Yep I’m in love… perfect. I played tour regular previously but wanted a higher ball flight.
@@dazwarburton With the higher ball flight, are you losing yards? I have been curious what the difference would be between the 101's with the tour lite shaft and the 101T's with the tour shaft
@@neilmacdonald5648 yep lost a bit. Almost a full club difference but my Wilsons were super strong lofts.

They are superb. Note that these are the 101T which are different to the 101. I think the 101s are in the same game improvement bracket as the dynapower.
I would make the case that the Takomos are much better looking.

I watched an American player literally shank the ball so far to the right it just about took out an onlooker on the road beside the course (who moved just in time). Then proceeded to shank his second drive, but it bounced off of that box beside the tee and landed on the fairway.
