Completely stunning! I love the fresh blues in these pieces! What is the paste used for the 'outline' process? I'd love to give this a go at home!
Thank you for your interesting！ Rice starch is used for the paste. It acts as a bulwark to prevent the dye from bleeding through. And when the cloth is washed in water, the rice starch is washed away.

It is a similar technique to aquarel, you can find a ton of tutorials nowadays.
Oh WOW, I'd LOVE to have a kimono and obi made from this atelier. I hope one day I will, one day in the not too distant future. Wonderful work!

This was a great early video for the Kanazawa tourism. I could feel myself in the town and enjoy the sights. In future videos, could you please hold the camera a little more steady? If it shakes too much, it causes some dizziness.
Thank you for your comment! This was filmed before we got a gimbal (stabilizer). Also fast forwarding made it worse. Apologies for the shakiness!! The other videos should be a bit better!
