It such a pretty shame that Second Sino-Japanese War was never representation or portrayed in video games, I saw this war in many chinese movie but never portrayed in video games

One thing I found interesting is that out of all six vanilla factions in battlefield 1, only one (America) is a Republic. Britain, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Austro-Hungary are all at the time Monarchies. Battlefield 1’s dlcs introduced several more factions but those are mostly monarchies too with the only exceptions being France and USSR. It’s crazy to think that merely a century ago most of us were still ruled by Kings and Emperors.

The Pacific War, World War 1 and Vietnam War are already underrepresented in video games, but the Spanish Civil War, First Indochina War, Korean War and Second Sino-Japanese War are just straight up non-existent.

To be honset I love when there is from real war military events enjoyed watching😊

Surprised there isn't anymore. -We had the Balkan Wars before WW1 -same for the Russo-Japanese War of 1904. You also had: -the South African Border War in the 1980s. -The many "Vietnam esque" wars in the Cold War from the Malayan Emergency to Protugal Colonial Wars, the Yemen Civil War for Egypt, Sri Lanka Civil War for India. The Indonesian Revolution against the Dutch -Italian invasion of Abyssinia, now Ethiopia in 1935. -The wars in the 1920s. -The Mexican Revolution in the 1910s. -The Peru-Ecuadorian War of 1941. Along with the many fronts in WW1 and WW2 that is rarely talked about in the US and Western Europe like the Eastern Front, African Front, Balkan Front, Arab Revolt, and the Chinese front So much stories to show to the masses.

A Chechen war game would be brutal.

I'm very glad that mods like the Spanish Civil War mod for COD2/WAW, the Korean War, and the Rhodesian Bush War exist. We need more forgotten war mods or games. 7544 was great for Indochina for sure as with plenty of conflicts introduced by Black Ops 2. And I bet the Portuguese Colonial War mod would tie in perfectly with the Rhodesian War mod for BF Vietnam

Great little look but you missed the Russian Civil War. Battlefield 1's Russia DLC actually covered that conflict instead of World War I

What is amazing is how Project Reality has a lot of these wars all in one game.. crazy

The first campaign is very similar to the levels from the game Half-Life 2 and the levels from it's episodes. With the addition of crystal water and palm trees :) I didn't know about such a map, need to play

Ive noticed how in every single one of these western games, you play as the bad guy.

Wasnt expecting to see the Chechnyan war or the Bosnian Civil war in this. I mean fuck they made a hollywood hit over the Bosnian civil war Behund Enemy lines with Owen Wilson.
