subbed in the hopes to see another upload someday. I randomly decided to check the channel after watching that scv marimba cam again, didn't know there was two other videos waiting me there. Wonderful stuff
5 years later and we have reached 400k views which are extremely well deserved. Scv’s 5 Fred Sanford in 6 years produced some of the best pits we have ever seen in drum corps and I cannot wait to see them back in competition in 2024.
Every parent who has had to push pit: *Sees Marimba* My Check Knee Light just came on 😂😂😂 Good job and cool footage! Keep up the excellent work. Music is positive for the kiddos!
This is utterly elegant as hell, I aspire to be like you, the precision and everything is amazing to witness, albeit on video. Looking forward to starting a corps soon!
OMG this music is the same as my show in 2019 its called Out of the maze (Williamstown Band of Spirit 2019 Regionals) the marimba parts almost the exact same. i was wonder why around 7 min and 34 seconds sounds the exact same as my show if you watch my schools video around 5:29 you can here almost the exact notes

This guy permutates
Yo, does anybody know what mallet series they're using?
🔥🔥🔥🔥
6 years later and this is still cool as hell dude
What mallets are those!
why switch to the same mallets, is it for sweat buildup? or the amount of wear on the mallets
pretty sure theyre different mallets just in the same color

This is incredible. Mad props for the execution. Wow
I know this is all about the marimba and all, but I will never grow tired of the horn snap at 8:28

What mallet selection did you choose for this piece? Asking for reference on newer mallets as I'm due for a couple new pairs
the casual mallet switch every time the hands get sweaty gets me
I know this is three years old, but what mallets is she using? It looks like bobo's

Not sure but I've just been slowing it down to .25 speed and figuring it out from there. It works pretty well

@Noah Caldwell no, I was literally just randomly scrolling through the comments of this video and found you and it scared me
Jamaica's gravity
the beginning to 1:28 has got to be one of the best intros I've heard in any show music. Also, 10:10 sounds SO COOL
yeah what a beat
1:28 - It's "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" by Peter Graham. Cool piece :)
One of the most beautiful openers to date. 10/10
