I know what you mean, I live in this area and it’s been crazy in the summer over the past few years. Lake Louise is still pretty quiet early in the day though, but you probably need to be there before 7am!

It is amazing, in fact the whole island is just incredible. One of my all time favourite places!!

I understand that some of the beach was washed away by a storm.

I honestly don’t know if it’s normal, I was surprised as well. We went to Besalu, another amazing old village, on the same day and it was very very busy. I guess Santa Pau is harder to get to, it’s further from the main roads. But I loved the fact it was quiet!!

It was my first visit. I lived in Hull as a kid and Skegness didn’t have the best reputation, but I was pretty impressed.

It is a beautiful country, one of my favourites, I’m glad you enjoyed the video 😊

This was my first visit, I was impressed, such a nice long sandy beach. A great place for families.

@@JillsWalks if you go to skeg again I advise you to go to raff 55 they do all you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and it's absolutely amazing

Hi, thanks for the comment. It's true that there isn't much sand on the stretch of beach near the Miramar. If you want to get a better look check out my beachfront video th-cam.com/video/R2Cg6n1ckdk/w-d-xo.html at around 47 minutes, this was taken around 10 days ago.

@WorldwideWalks24 it must have been a huge storm to wash all that part away there was never any rocks at the promenade just sand

I didn’t realise there used to be so much sand, this was my first visit. You’re right it must have been quite a storm!

We were unlucky with the weather, but we think it still gives an idea of what the area is like and also what the bus ride covers.
