03.Third tutorial of Gambit : Modeling a Three-Pipe Intersection (3-D)
มุมมอง 437ปีที่แล้ว
In this tutorial you will learn how to: · Create volumes by defining their dimensions · Split a volume · Add boundary layers to your geometry · Prepare the mesh to be read into POLYFLOW
02.Second Tutorial of gambit : Modeling a mixing elbow (2-D)
มุมมอง 469ปีที่แล้ว
In this tutorial, you will use GAMBIT to create the geometry for a mixing elbow and then generate a mesh. The mixing elbow configuration is encountered in piping systems in power plants and process industries. It is often important to predict the flow field and temperature field in the neighborhood of the mixing region in order to properly design the location of inlet pipes. In this tutorial yo...

    At 14:59 you show a plot of pressure, but, is the same as in Openfoam that for having the real preasure you must mutiply the result by the density?

    Hey, nice video! I was wondering if you could do anything with UDF‘s on an airfoil sim in fluent?

      Hello. Thanks. I have experience of several simulations with UDFs. I don't understand your question exactly! You can connect with the ID in my Telegram channel : t.me/CFDLearning good luck.

    Can you tell me why did you make the mesh periodic? Excellent video btw.

      To simulate the Couette flow, I assumed that the computational domain is infinite along the x-axis, for this reason, I used a periodic boundary condition and the solution is repeated periodically in the following areas.

    Sir, In this video you showed the velocity streamline for Rayleigh number 10^3, right? But my question is how can I change Ra number like 10^4,10^5 and find their corresponding streamlines?

    • @CFD-Learning
      @CFD-Learning ปีที่แล้ว

      For changing Ra, you can change Prandtl number or Grashof number or both of them. Because Ra=Pr*Gr.

      Sure. I did this simulation very long time ago and you can see the results from my grabcad account. but I will make a tutorial for it. Thanks for your suggestion.
