    This light seems amazing for the price. As a lighting novice I have a question… if a light has CMY mixing what’s the point of the color wheel? Mainly for mixed colors and rainbow effect? Thanks

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      There are certain colors the CMY can't create that CMY can. Also mixing CMY and the color Wheel at the same time creates more dynamic colors.

      To connect a external screen for visualizer you need to connect the Victory 3 to a Ethernet hub via Victory 3's Artnet port. Then connect a PC or Laptop to the hub via ethernet. Next go into the settings on the Victory 3 and enable Artnet. Hit setup-Network Settings to view and set a IP address, subnet and gateway. Then you can use your visualizer.

    What’s this for?

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So the Artnet node has eight dmx-512 3-pin connectors on the back and I want to access them from the front so I created a pass or feed through. The Artnet node converts a single Artnet 4 signal and properly addresses each of the eight universes contained in each of the dmx ports on the back. When you mount a node to a flight case the ports are on the back and are hard to access so it's better to access them from the front.

      @@TheatricallyJerry I see that, I’m exited!! I the twist dial was a very quick way to get around the menus however I would take a real ArtNet node functionality any day. The old model I had just did not hold dmx packets unless something was being sent constantly and it was really not good. I was about to buy a different brand of ArtNet node until I saw they updated the design. I wasn’t going to purchase unless I knew it was a legit node which is how I found your vid :). I’ll make a video on it as well.

    I mean it makes sense that it shows each battery charge cause not all batteries are same and its good to know which one is good and which one isnt! I think its amazing! I dont know why I went with the Lensgo hand held smoker... I mean I looked on Amazon and that one popped up first and I had already ordered it but than later on I saw this one and it reminds me of the Genie that costs 700 dollars and to be honest I like this ulanzi one much better. Its more sophisticated and I even think its built nicer! It def looks nicer and its only a 100 which is just as much as I paid for the lensgo cause the lensgo was on sale. Normaly its 128 but I actually paid 90 for it so im gonna return it and get this one instead. I really really like this one! The lensgo's tank is also leaking and I dont like that at all. Mine Broke in the first 5 minutes. I usually love Ulanzi products, but this one I had no luck with!

      I'm sorry to hear this, maybe a bad batch? Mines still going strong. What broke on it?

    Awesome review very detailed thank you so much. Does the wash light come with totem? That’s where the wash light only stays in front of you.

    Hello , can you please explain how to program function key to blackout? Tnx

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Press setup and then console manage button. The option to set the master faders function key to blackout is available under console manage. You also need to update to the latest firmware for this to take effect.

      @@TheatricallyJerry I actually have a Fos designer 2048 console, which is identical to Code victory 3. I don't know who copied who ;) I have the latest available firmware 3.2.7 and under the master options I have: grandmaster and speed, so it confuses me a bit. Thank you very much for your answer, and I'm also wondering if you know if there are any significant differences between these two consoles?

    • @TheatricallyJerry
      @TheatricallyJerry 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @tomythedj Yes CODE makes one version and other manufacturers silk screen their name over it. Very common.

      Hi, I have another question if you can help me. I have the entire first page of faders programmed. When I program each subsequent page and leave the fader on it active, when returning to the first page, when I lower that same fader, what was programmed on the other page turns off. Do you know if it is possible to program it in such a way that the fader remains active until I physically lower it on another page
