Ive stopped ripping Donruss - The cards and hits are nice but the excess amount of base cards just gets overwhelming and feels wasteful.

In the far future the only cards the collectors will love is Match Attax and Adrenalyn XL if the therory of nostralgia will take affect, in europe at least.

PSA upcharges for me are justified (to an extent) because of the Authenticity/Grading guarantee that they offer. PSA takes on a lot of risk with that guarantee, and through upcharges they likely are able to offset that risk and provide collectors with a peace of mind that no other grading company comes close to.

Definitely should have more action shots/memorable moments on Kabooms like you said.

That's a great point about the ball on Kaboom cards - the style definitely gives them license to create artistic interpretations of a football. It would be cool to even see them mess around a bit more with the figures themselves - like into the spiderverse style.

I laughed at the story about thinking about the box price of Impeccable after opening it. I was at my local card shop the other day and there was both Impeccable and Obsidian sitting up there on the shelf. I would have loved nothing more that to grab myself one of each, but when you see the number of cards for the price of the box, it's just impossible to justify for the average working Joe. If I had so much money that it had lost meaning for me, I'd be happy to do it (and try not to think about starving kids while doing it ;), but alas that's not the case.

I would like to contest an opinion at around 44 minutes in. Jose 1/1 Dynasty did $25K - which is nuts and as you said "very very healthy" indeed. However, I do believe there is a manager auto that would outsell Jose. And I want to preface this with several important facts... #1 - Fan base. The spend from this fanbase is really solid and there are some MASSIVE American celebs involved with the team AND "collecting" in some form. I think a vicious bidding war would drive this through the roof. #2- Universal love for the man, It's undeniable. #3- EXTREMELY rare as he's rarely in sets at all and has none (as far as I know) officially licensed autos out there. Jose has tons. #4 - How cool that big toothy smile would look set against that all white background and beautiful liver bird patch in the relic window. Yes. Yes, I do believe a Dynasty logo patch 1/1 on card auto of Jurgen Klopp would outsell the Jose Mourinho. I hand the floor back to you, kind sirs.

very poor u-21 euro, will bowman set ever be big in soccer anyway even without all the faults. they should of done something else with the autos they have and put them in maybe a topps now thing. this set surely will bomb.
