How to Rig a Wolfpack Tackle Tail
มุมมอง 2.4K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, Captain Jeff Warford demonstrates the correct way to rig up one of our Wolfpack Tails, with our current line of Wolfpack Tackle Heads. Our plug-n-play system allows the angler to interchange colors of hairs, and also tails. The ability to change a tail out effortlessly is truly amazing. If one color in the spread is getting all the bites, you can switch over other tails to match....

Top Dog in the GAME
Nevermind the fish, that is a beautiful boat. I noticed it is a cat so what brand, doesn’t look like a freeman and I don’t think world cats get they big so I’m going to guess it’s either and invincible or glacier bay or just a random boat. Was I right?
Thank you
This was very helpful. Thank you for explaining and showing the rigging in detail.
Looking pretty dope
Brilliant product guys, love to get some in NZ, will you send overseas
Black backing like a champ!
Stripahhhhh
They'll be here in full force soon enough!!
Sick catch
Couple more weeks and they'll be allover Jersey!
@@wolfpacktackle you bet!
That fish got mad when he hit em in the face with lure. Hahaha ha 😆
Using a sea witch defeats the purpose of the split bill. Thats a naked technique.
For tuna fishing, especially bigeyes and giant bluefin split bill ballyhoo with a head is absolutely deadly. Nakeds can be deadly as well at certain times. These heads are also not sea witches
@@jeffwarford4467 the head inhibits the swimming motion which is the whole point of rigging a split bill. Just rig it normally. And it’s close enough to a sea witch without knowing the exact brand. It’s not a chugger head or any of the land lures, anything else with hair is a sea witch.
Everyone has an approach that works best for their application. Here in the NE Tuna fishing (not talking about Marlin) split billing is done with heads the majority of the time. Are you familiar with catching bigeyes and giants? They typically don’t feed close to the boat. These baits are fished typically 100-150 yds back. I run nakeds ALL the time but they have two completely different applications. Ever try fishing a naked when it’s blowing over 15 knots? Like I said, everyone has a way of rigging that works best for them but as a professional captain that does this for a living everyday I can tell you that I catch 100s of tunas every year rigging like this. Here in the NE a split bill rigged Bally with a head wins 9-10 tuna tournaments. Also a sea witch is 1/8-1/2oz these heads are 1-4oz
@@jeffwarford4467 you nailed it with the wanting to use a split bill naked when its blowing. This looks really deadly and I can't wait to try a couple on the longs this year. No matter what you say you will never get a marlin purest to agree with you either LOL. Thanks for the tips!
Whats your favorite position to run a split bill?
When we run Ballyhoo, we like to have them on both long riggers

u know thats a real million dollar fish prolly more than that. imagine if the line broke lol
Thats mostly a myth, usually only the first bluefin of the season in Japan sells for that much. For the rest like this one, try removing 2 zeros and then cutting it in half 😆
@@wolfpacktackle wow intresting . i think alot of people would give 50k for that fish easily. restraunt would make a fortune off a fish like that. maybe u should just open a restraunt lol
@@Financere425not even close only liek 5k-10k normally
Fuck yea hell yea skin wish I could do that 🤘🤘💯💯💯

Does the slit on the ballyhoo stabilizer run side to side or up and down (top to bottom ) ? Thx
Hi J You want the ballyhoo stabilizer facing side to side. Make sure the word “Top” is facing up on the head and the stabilizer is locked on side to side. Best regards Jeff
@@wolfpacktackle Cool thanks. Will hopefully give em a shot this week
