Hi Everyone
We went island hopping with Mocha during the start of Sept holidays to St John’s Island & Kusu Island. We ended the day with a trip to Cosford Container Park at Changi for plane spotting in the evening.
We booked the ferry tickets online with Marina South Ferries. We planned to park at the ferry terminal at Marina South Pier, however the open air carpark was full even though we reached an hour earlier (our ferry dep time was 9am). Thus we drove further up the road to Marina Bay Cruise Centre where there’s plenty of parking spaces available. It was a breeze to walk from Marina Bay Cruise Centre to Marina South Pier via a linked sheltered walkway. The pleasant morning stroll took us about 10 - 15mins.
If you are planning to pack some food to bring along for the trip, there is a row of shops selling all sorts of stuffs from food items to daily necessities. There’s also a few tables across from the shops for diners which were packed when we were there. We had a quick breakfast (nasi lemak, curry puffs, coffee) before boarding at 8.45am. We also bought some snacks and drinks from the shops to bring along as there’s no food on the islands.
We went on a half day trip to both islands and took the 2pm ferry back from Kusu Island. As the weather is unpredictable, packing sunscreen, towels, umbrella
And plenty of water is essential!
We ended the evening at Changi Cosford Container Park to do some plane spotting. It was a beautiful day with fine weather and a beautiful
