A group of flamingoes performing a mating walk/dance at Laguna Hedionda, Bolivia. Taken from a considerable distance (with a 125x zoom), and this performance started with little warning, so the video was hand-held and a little wobbly.

To the human eye the aurora looked whitish, but the camera sees many colours! It was mostly to the north, but also northeast and also a few wisps overhead. This was just after midnight.

95 minute time lapse video of the sun, taken late morning on 4th October 2024 in Minnesota with a Seestar S80. One frame per second. Lots of sunspots. Partly taken to check if the Seestar was still working OK, after it fell over the previous night and took a bit of a thump. It seemed to track the sun well enough.

Nice. I suppose the slow rotation is caused by the rotation of the earth?
Yes, this is field rotation due to the Alt-Azimuth mounting. (The sun's own rotation is much slower.) You get the same thing with the moon or star constellations at night. It is just less obvious with the sun normally.
