Really great lesson. The magic of Jeff Beck is that he takes simple pentatonics and turns them into beautiful violent venomous moments that you just can’t copy. Man, I miss seeing that man play live. It was such a treat to see him tour.

I remember being 12 years old back in the very early 90s, and my uncle had a Foreigner cassette tape that he actually wore it slap out. Every single day, he'd pick me up from school and was always playing that tape. This song always stuck out to me. This was before I got into learning guitar. So several years passed, and I got into guitar, and I learned the intro by ear, never learning the whole song. So fast forward a few decades, here I am..lol

It can not be played in standard tuning without losing the open notes that give it that airy mystical sound. Sorry, cant be done. At least not to the point were it does not lose all of the airiness about it.
