Hearthstone collection grabber working prototype v1
มุมมอง 5019 ปีที่แล้ว
I made a small python script that uses OpenCV to automatically analyze your collection and dump it to JSON. It is slow, but at least it is hands-off and very accurate. Grabbing my entire collection takes about 10-12 minutes, this video only shows grabbing the last few pages to showcase the concept.
Would uv cute resin work?
Very cool! 👍
Surprised you just didn't use the Dimensional Magic over the top instead of epoxy. I've done that to existing game tokens to make them pop.
Great work! Have epoxy at Home... and Pimp a lot of my Boardgame. I have to try that. Can you Give me a Amazon link for the Metal Forms? Thanks.... Sandra
What cards do you use? For this 20th look? I need that for Cthulhu 😁
Awesome thank you!
very stunning and gorgeous tokens, especially with that brass bottom
Can you make the clear cast flat? or flush with top?
Nice!
Cool game🕹
great work! ТОлько дорого выйдет.
Would you sell me some MTG Dragon tokens?
Oh another clear casting product you might try that is a single step product I use for all sorts of adhering of multiple materials is Goop glue for plumbing which is the purple indicated package and Goop makes a general craft adhesive also, but I like the plumbing Goop because it bonds to plastics and metal well and it self levels and cures perfectly clear and bubbles don't really form in it as it dries and retracts. It is also flexible but very tough. Ya would just have to test it for making tokens as I can't speak to how well the clarity of the surface would hold up through the physical friction and handling that tokens go through, as in, the surface would get cloudy or dulled easily or not. It seems though from the comics objects I've used it on,it seems to stay clear unless it gets handled a lot, then it gets micro-abrasions as it has that flexibility property. This would be the main issue, as the epoxies tend to dry much harder and be more resistant to wear, depending on how well it was blended, but some of them tend to yellow and darken also over time.
My man those look excellent!!
Imponerad :)
Beautiful!
How many tokens can you make with 1 order of that resin?
A ton probably, the amount he made in the video looks like it could have made 3-4 tokens
Great, it looks awesome!!! And the trick of the lighter is amazing
Bra spelat! Även nya kartan var snygg!
Wow, those pendant trays look insane. I wish I could find some like that!
If you like the solid feel but want to save time, you can glue clear or colored glass cabochons over the punches instead of using resin. Here's an alternate source for loopless trays: pandawhole com /tray-settings-in-bulk/
thanks for this alternate link, got em in silver for a great price.
Hi! Is your source code publicly available? Im trying to do something similar with OpenCV and having this source code would be extremely helpful. Tnx!
Do you know of any trays in black or white? I'm unable to find any without the necklace loop. Great video by the way.
Sorry for the late reply but no, these were the only ones I found. Maybe there was a silver version available too.
I imagine for a little extra work you could spray paint them black and possibly clear coat if you wanted high gloss.
This is so incredibly cool! Thank you for sharing! Great work (all of your videos, by the way!)
These are really cool! One suggestion: hobby stores sometimes carry 1'' epoxy stickers, which you could stick to the image in lieu of the liquid resin. It might be easier (and less toxic). I've used the stickers and flattened bottlecaps to make different kinds of tokens and magnets.
Yeah I actually used that kind but hexagonal for another project. Put them on both sides of a doublesided print. Works great, but not the same hard finish!
I enjoyed your video, and as a beginner board game designer I really appreciate your work and ideas. Keep it up man! Great work!
Damn! This makes me want to do this to all my games with tokens. Great idea.
"stirring and poking stick". Stop flooding us with technical terms!!! :) Nice work Andreas!
Why pour the epoxy mix into another cup? isn't that just wasting a cup?
+Murky Seven see my reply below :)
Where did you find the pendant trays
SKEETER SKEETER Check the video description :)
LOL DUHH sorry thanks for help
Those Arkham ones look great
Nice! Did you try painting the epoxy onto the bezels? I use epoxy on 3D prints sometimes and will use cheap, throwaway paint brushes for it.
Instead of using glue? That's probably a good idea. Will have to try it out.
Norrland <3
Fantastic video - well done! I might just have to give this a shot sometime. :D
Thank you, it was really fun to make. :)
Why do you have to transfer the epoxy into a second cup?
There are grooves in the cups I use that makes it hard to get the mix just right. It's more about me being anal than anything else. I got some bad casts at first when I did not mix properly.
