Using Filecmp.cmp you can check a directory for duplicate files. We can then deal with that information rapidly in Alteryx to build a manifest of all duplicate files and their relationships to the file they are a duplicate of.

A very preliminary introduction to how python and Alteryx can be used in conjunction to one another. In this particular case we use the os library and a simple for loop to delete batched reports we made in Alteryx in a local directory.
What's happening @6:00 ? It looks like Alteryx falsely returned a Python error and you just had to press "Run" in the Python tool to get it to straighten itself up?
Alteryx is such a clunky, cumbersome tool.
Depends on how you use it. If you don't like it run the script where ever you like. I do love Alteryx but I also like coleslaw and coleslaw ain't for everyone😂😂😂

hey im finding this super useful! could you make more videos on how to incorporate the python tool into data cleaning/analysis/summarization with alteryx? I am particularly interested in applications that can reduce data loss like replacing null values like the multi row formula tool does. regardless, thank you!
How to get python intellisense in Alteryx.
This is a fantastic point some auto-completion does kicking in the jupyteresque notebook but sometimes is not there. My recommendation is the right things in your favorite IDE and then bring it into alteryx
