04 BMW E46 330CI ZHP, they don’t make them like they use to!
If you ever happn to google search anE46 ZHP you will find a vast threads, from forums, FB groups, reviews by car journalists,…etc. once you start reading multiple threads you will be more confused than when you first started that curiosity to why this NA 235hp & 222 pound feet of torque underpowered “sport” car is so saught after in today’s turbo charged & supercharged engines with dual clutch autoTragic transmissions with paddle shifters “to avoid the slight delay a real manual shifts into gear” to avoid losing that 2 or 3 tenth of a second of their vehicles claimed 0-60 that in some of the current offering has gone down to the sub 3 seconds even though traffic laws hasn’t changed when it comes to speed limits specially going straight. Not to mention EVs (I just threw up in my mouth!).
Now, jokes aside, what makes an E46 ZHP so special (with a 6MT and 3 pedals of course). From ownership perspective & experience. I usually look at two factors. Cost of ownership vs Fun factor. At least it has to balance itself out in order to justify owning such bimmer. The beauty about the E46 ZHP w/6MT is that it feels like whoever thought of the ZHP package was an owner of an E46 330 w/ZSP packaged that always had that feeling of something missing with his car and was miles away in comparison with its big bodybuilding athletic brother the E46 M3. It’s like comparngArnold Schwarzenegger & Danny DeVito, in the movie Twins. Those subtle but effective changes or we can call them upgrades that were performed on the non-M E46 330 with the good all M54B30 took that model from being Danny DeVito to Franco Columbu. Not Arnold Schwarzenegger’s level, but still a to performer and competed on the same level. On paper, horsepower and torque are not a big deal to the reader or the non-enthusiast. Only 10 hp and 8 pound feet of torque gains specially in today’s numbers and not looking at it from when this package was offered in 2003, 21 years ago.
If I continue writing this will turn out to be another car journalist page. To summarize this total package of a vehicle. It is truly an ultimate driving experience. Well put together. It shows how BMW was a driver focused car manufacturer and not a lease cars” maker with so much technology thrown at it that it lost it identity. BMW no longer cater to that type of a driver focus client. They limited that to their M division now. Even the M divison is veering away from the driver enthusiast and have joined the horse power numbers type of buyers that all they want to do is to put it in launch mode from light to light or stop sign the stop sign. Exhaust notes enhanced via the infotainment system’s speakers. No longer that true analog feel and fun but a nub synthetic feel for zombie type of riders that are looking to ride an iPad on wheels.
Do you want to have a smile from ear to ear looking like the grinch then get behind a car like this (M-lite) or an M performance model from the same era, older and little newer. My preference is to be an E-chassis Bimmer. The E-chassis bimmer were in my humble opinion the most fun, good looking and with characteristics that is unique to each model unlike today’s models that share the same weird looks with those massive kidney grills looking like wall radiator heaters that you find in old East Coast an midwestern apartments and homes . Not excluding that dull interior that is over stuffed with tech and gadgets. I won’t know where to start when getting in one of these models. And what’s up with that ridiculous screen from one end of the dashboard to the other end. Good luc fixing all these when those cars get older and climmd in mileage!
We all know bimmers always been over engineered and yes they have their flaws. All their oil gaskets will leak (valve cover, oil filter housing, oil pan) and yes their coolant system is finicky due to the use of plastic material that from heat cycles eventually will become brittle and fall apart and in coolant expansion tank case, explodes! But bimmer heads know that already and willing to adopt that known flaws for the sake of the fun factor experience and we figured a way around it and that is either get another job to support the maintenance 😆, become a “certified youtube mechanic” 😉 or just do what I do and first make sure to take your sweet time in finding a well maintained model, take it in for a PPI to address the major oil leaks and then treat it like it had never received its 100K mikes service. In addition overhault the cooling system, draining all the fluids changing all the filters and all the rubber bushing. You catch my drift. You need to spend money to have fun without having one eye on the road and the other eye on the instrument cluster/gauges and lights. If that is roo much for your pocets then you aren’t ready yet
Feel free to drop me a comment if you agree, diagree, would like to add or have any question if you are considering purchasing one. Please be nice and courteous. We dont own the company!

M62TUB44 cold start
มุมมอง 188หลายเดือนก่อน
The 2001 BMW E38 740iL came with the M62TUB44. It is a 4.4 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with 282 hp at 5400 RPM and 324 pound feet of torque at 3700 RPM. It was matched with a five speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a real wheel drive. Definitely, they do not make them like they used to!
do some vidio with drifting to get more suscribe
I baby this car.
good car
I 💯agree with you!
You down with ZHP. Yeah you know me!
Nice ride
Thanks 👍
Overrated
What isn’t now a day since the introduction of those “ disposable” EVs.
Nice clean ride ! I have a 70. Love the 70-73 Camaros. Great handling cars too.
Right on!
Very nice... How to get it. From Sénégal west africa
It is not for sale as of now.
The Tango is the only vintage world cup ball that Adidas still produce
The best looking ball of all times IMHO. I believe they stopped reproducing it couple of years back. They had a classic version rerelease starting from their entry level Glider to their mid which is FIFA INSPECTED called Rosario and their FIFA APPROVED Pasadena. They also had a collaboration with PALACE and made the yellow and black colored version. They made other tangos as well but weren’t the OG look therefore I was NOT interested in adding to my collection.
Are you selling? Been looking for these in a size 10us men for a while now!
Sorry, I don’t have size 10US. These are 10.5US
You think they are good for soccer?
Absolutely not. None of the traditional designed sambas are good to play soccer with IMHO. They are for casual wear only specially when you start hitting your 40s and the check engine light starts flashing on your forehead from all the wear and tear you put your body through up to this point 😉
@@farfoori haha thanks. I was so close to buying a pair to play with. I'm gonna buy the classics instead then. Luckily I'm not near age 40 so my CE light isn't on just yet haha
@@rickyp.7273 best of luck. Enjoy your youth like I surly did. I still recommend you buying a modern indoor adidas Copa full grain leather or even better find one made with Calf skin and not kangaroo because the latter is not a water resistant and it is too soft.
@@farfoori where could I get those made from calf skin?
@@rickyp.7273 eBay for the calf skin pairs or look into the Italian brands like diadora, lotto,… adidas used to make them like the adidas nova or adidas 11Pro
'Promo SM' 🌟
I have an original pair that is so beat up but i still wear them everyday. Found on ebay for 25$ and theyre my most worn shoe
Great quality leather. Built well!
sheesh
Is that “sheesh” meant as a good thing or a bad thing?
Do you sell it?
One pair listed on eBay
Size 10US

Have to be a pass
Kinda ugly ngl
It was unique and different compared to the indoor shoes of its time
Oh when was it made?
@@Pastamilly777 I believe it was released in 98 with the rest of the Predator accelerator silhouettes for the 98 WC in France
@@farfoori oh wow it is old
@@Pastamilly777 A 25 year old design! Adidas always been ahead of its time when designing and producing purpose made footwear, clothing & accessories. Lately they started to veer off and been focusing on collaborations where it is no longer purpose made for a specific sport and still can sport them as lifestyle attire. But, more for today’s modern fashion statement folks. This to me as a decades long adidas enthusiast is a path to losing their true identity. Yes, their maker is getting bigger but they are diluting their true enthusiast base that were loyal to the brand for decades, and now they are looking into a new brands that are doing what adidas originally did and that is making purpose designed/made footwear, clothing and accessories to specific sports to fill that gap. You can see that in remaking and rereleasing product from the 80’s & 90’s. That period when adidas was on top and at its best when it came to their product innovation and quality in my humble opinion.
Samba for life
Love the Samba line.
Best of both worlds
Agreed
🙌🏻
The folded tong with the trefoil is what did it for me. Perfect to rock with cargo shorts or similar.
Never seen these before
They came out with these back in the 80s beige they switched to the gum outsoles
Mean Sambas
Love the fang like tri stripes
All my Ruski homies will go crazy for these. Davay Davay.
They are going for over $350 last time I checked
Badass collection - All the OGs 🙌🏻
Thank you!
One of my favorites
Hemp known to stretch way less than any other natural fiber which helps a canvas shoe hold its shape without you having to use shoe inserts and despite all kinds of punishment you put your kicks through. Shoes made out of Canvas are very flexible, and also allow the foot to breathe.
Never seen those before 😳
I bought those a while back too. they launched them before their HEMP line
Props.
The Gazelle were the unofficial skater go to pair prior to the intro of the Dennis Busenitz adidas in 2006 I believe
I know a few dudes that’ll kill for these. 🙌🏻
A big fan base for those 3 colors in the US
Sexy
Frikkin clean. I’d sport that with a black suit. 😎
I can see that!
Badass
I love how they incorporated the trefoil logo on both the long extended tung and the back.
One of my favorites on the field.
Iconic. The best looking out of all the predators made IMHO
Timeless classic
agreed!
Retro AF. 🙌🏻
I believe they were released a decade before the Sambas
🫶🏻
I use these when I go on vacations that involves a lot of walking (20K+ steps daily)
Classic
Love these old school all leather tennis shoes
🙌🏻
Originally released in 1988. They were the first adidas sneaker to feature Torsion system technology.
Props. Go Lakers.
They may feature Laker colors., but They are retro tennis silhouette.
Wow. I’ve never seen that colorway before.
No.1 color in the 90's
👍🏻
Back in the early 90s those were the shoes that were associated with the rise of the Casual image. It’s how currently people been rocking the Sambas now.
Great colors
Hard to find
Crazy details. 👍🏻
1 out of 250 made
🫶🏻
The original Los Angeles trainers were released in 1984 to celebrate the 1984 Olympics. These were one of the first of their kind in the world of athletic footwear earning their 'stripes' on the tracks as well as with the original casual movement and sportswear fanatics of the 80's.
Never gets old. Classic.
I’m more fan of the Samba over the Copa. I like the old school logo over the modern one
Clean!
If you prefer the modern adidas logo then these are the shoes for you. If you prefer the original Trefoil logo then the Samba Super are the way to go.
Indoor ⚽️ 👑
My favorite
Great runners… Very comfy toe box. Nice colorway too. 🙌🏻
Those were part of the first gen Adizero line. I bout them on Sep/12/2007
I love the tooth-shaped 3-stripes on the upper. They’d look great with a pair of DFE camo pants.
There were released late 2019 to honor the spirit of modern soccer culture. The 3 tapered fang-like stripes on the shoes recall the look of the legendary adidas Predator shoe from 1994 World Cup.
Badass classic colorway.
These were released in 2022 I believe. They released two different colorways, white/yellow and white/blue. Made under the AEC (adidas Energy Concepts arm) detailing a heavily aged redesign, looking like they’ve been beat on the basketball court.
80s legend. Love those kicks. 🙌🏻
Yes indeed!
