I saw them in 2000 in Denver at Tower Records,they were promoting Machina/The Machines of God. I was really close to the stage but not very familiar with their music,I do remember that they played really good. Not bad at all for a free unplugged show,I plan to see them again in July in Arlington.

I guess it's phone audio so bound to misrepresent, but this seemed very paint-by-numbers, going through the motions. Billy repeating he doesn't want to play this track anymore perhaps 'enhances' that impression, and he might be right. Without an actual urgency in the vocal delivery, it doesn't have the fire it needs. I'm sure it would only take a couple minutes to find a rendition from the '90s that would obliterate the flaccid sleepwalk exhibited here.
