All the confusion is created when a very few people can impose their will on others. It is not really the people of Burma but the regime that causes the misery.

Lots of mistakes here. The mother or guardians were not guarding the child when it was hit. It looked like hours before the mother showed up. The other thing is, aren't these folks aware they were videoed by a surveillance cam? Even without a surveillance cam, that so many witnesses chose "not to get involved" showed a horrific moral lapse. If economical or govermental issues are so strong that the basic human condition is ignored, what does that say about humans. I care. I was taught to treat everyone with respect even if I can't stand them. Where I grew up, when things are at their worst, people are at their best. When something bad happens, people rush into help. And I see this, and it's so confusing why the rest of the world operates this way. I operate on others FIRST self LAST.
