Still got one, great car

"Taurus is a very important name for the Ford Motor Company." Today it is no longer in production. I have owned 2 of this generation. I currently have a 2018 with 17,000 trouble free miles.

AND, in 2013, they got the brakes right!

A surprisingly interesting car that is truly at odds with its sleep-inducing name.

One interior problem is probably the gear stick, not as slick looking as the rest of the interior.

@emforty2 True. You can't rebadge bland and styling and think anyone would buy it. They did the smart thing and brought back one of their best sellers in a nice body and powerful motor with decent fuel ecomony.

One thing not mentioned in this video are the standard features. Almost every single car company makes you pay more for options that you figure should be standard like air conditioning, power doors and windows. But with the Taurus, it includes everything you would possibly want on the base model. The extras really are extras, such as the ambient lighting, radar system and SYNC.

Video sucked. More of a sales presentation that didn't tell me shit or really show the cars features. At least Ford has grown a lot in quality over the past few years. The Japanese are slipping a bit.

@TheZachalope Sweet. I'm glad it's a true Ford. Though i do wish the Taurus still had a V8 option and if possible a rear wheel drive platform.

Go Ford! Wanted a Altima for so long, but may consider this instead.

This car looks better than many cars twice the price, both inside and out. And Ford has made so many advances in build quality that you can now choose to buy American and not feel hestitant about the long term value of the vehicle. Not only the quality, but Ford was the only major US company that didnt need bailout money and be forced to restructure. If that doesnt inspire confidence I dont know what would.

frankly speaking it can't be called sport because it's so heavy as a large SUV it's too expensive for just a ford seem as another flop

I just got my loaded SEL today, everything but Navi, should have gotten the Navi but not regretting it. Love my Candy Red Taurus!! Awesome outside and inside, traded my 500 in for it, the Taurus makes the 500 seem like an old Civic it's that much better. Get one, you won't regret it!

Just got one with the performance pac and am luvin it to death encountered a few competitors but shut em down, nice inside and out, moves lightning fast and can handle for a big car, go for it! You wont regret it.

I can't believe I am saying this... I want a Ford Taurus.. there I said it. I saw one in person wow it's amazing.
