Gondhoraj Katla Full Recipe :- Ingredients: 1. Katla Fish - 500 g 2. Salt - as per taste 3. Black Pepper Powder - 1 teaspoon 4. Gondhoraj Lemon - Medium size 5. Poppy Seeds (Khas Khas/Posto) - 1 teaspoon 6. Melon Seeds (Char Magaj/Kharbooja ka Beej) - 1 teaspoon 7. Cashews - 6 to 7 8. Curd (Dahi) - 2 tablespoons 9. Green Chilli - 1 medium-sized 10. Mustard Oil Procedure: 1. Wash the fish pieces thoroughly. Add black pepper, 1 teaspoon of Gondhoraj lemon juice, Gondhoraj lemon zest, and salt to taste. Mix well and marinate for 10-15 minutes. 2. Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of mustard oil. 3. Fry the marinated fish pieces in the pan until golden brown. Remove the fried fish pieces and set them aside. 4. In a blender, add cashews, poppy seeds, melon seeds, curd, and green chilli. Blend well to make a fine paste. 5. Add the paste to the pan and cook over medium flame, stirring well until the paste separates from the oil. 6. Add some warm water to the pan and bring the mixture to a boil. 7. Add the fried fish pieces to the boiling mixture. Stir for a few minutes. 8. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low to medium flame for 5 minutes. 9. Remove the lid and add some Gondhoraj lemon juice, Gondhoraj lemon zest, and salt to taste. 10. Turn off the flame, cover the pan with the lid again, and let it rest for another 5 minutes. 11. Remove the lid and serve hot, garnished with lemon zest.
