Fiddling with the blinking sample of my Gatemate FPGA
After changing the logic a bit to add another input (enable) to the counter, I simply was able to disable the blinking while still counting by adding the enable signal into the equation for the led signal (or condition).

Here I show a little and first success on fiddling with high tech electronics. The sample is a 'Hello World''ish blinging example. First it didn't blink, but only lid one LED. After research within the verilog files I found a pin used that was probably for the original vendors evaluation board and on mine it was on an unused pin on a plug near the VGA port. The board is from bulgarian board man...

Can you run two 1820's together? Or do you need the 8200 to get 16 channels?
I am not sure, if two 1820 will work. I upgraded with the 8200 because I route an analog mixer rack into it. I probably purchased the 8200 because of the pricepoint. According to gearspace.com/board/so-much-gear-so-little-time/1279383-can-i-connect-behringer-umc1820-another-interface-via-adat.html the combination of two 1820 is not possible with ADAT because of missing internal routing of audio to ADAT. Thus only over USB, you will get the channels of the internal and additional ADAT what then in turn reduces 96 to 48 kBit
Can I just use 2 Behringer U-phoria UMC1820 to get to 16 channels. Can they connect via Adat? Or do You have to use the ADA?

@@jezgomez I bought four Behringer 8200's each with an adat output and a Digiface RMI (x4 adat in> 1 usb out) to go 32 into a pc.
@@ChristopherSmithNYC how has working with that setup been? I've got the UMC1820 and awaiting an ADA8200. Hopefully that will be a nice workflow
