Motorcycles, disc golf, programming, relationships, and whatever else is interesting and fun.
Why men pull away – Let him go or THIS will happen
Understand why men sometimes need space.
It's painful when you feel your partner wanting distance from you, and it can arouse fear that he will leave for good. On the man's side, he may be frustrated that he's not allowed to have independent time for himself and the tighter you hold on, the more he wants to get away.
Let's explore relationship dynamics as discussed in the book Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus by John Gray. I break down the classic "Men and Their Caves" metaphor and explore how it affects modern relationships, as I play a rousing round of disc golf.
🔑 Key Points:
00:00 Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus
01:33 Common relationship pattern
03:30 Why Martians (men) pull away
06:32 Don't enter his cave
06:59 What to do when he's in his cave
08:22 How the cave serves him
💬 Are you a Martian or a Venusian? Or is all this just BS to you? Comment and let’s discuss!

Or what I can learn, anyway. Actually 65 hours on the guitar and 15 hours on the ukulele in two months. 30 years old, never really played music before. This video is mostly for me, so in the future I can look back and measure how much I've improved. Here are links to the online lessons I used to learn what I played in the video. This is my first experience with someone needing space!! I told him if he felt like he needed to take space to work on himself he needs to do it..which he thought he was being selfish, but I told him that it is so important to make time for yourself.. to find yourself again.. he couldn’t believe I was being cool with it. I just said it’s because I love you that I have to let you go, it’s been a few weeks, he has reached on on txt a few times, very kind and sweet messages, which I responded to, short with no pressure emotion back! I will not reach out first 🤦🏻♀️I hope that doing this correctly!! IDK 🤷🏻♀️
It sounds like you're in the earlier stages of a relationship. I think that's very giving and mature of you to let him go if that's what his heart was telling him. If you two are compatible, I believe he will come back closer to you of his own volition. He may not though, which I know is hard. You can't put your life on hold for him. A good friend of mine fell for a man last year. He had untreated alcoholism that he was not ready to face, and he felt like he wasn't ready for a relationship. It was very hard on her but she let him go. He did end up pursuing therapy and recovery on his own, and a year later they got together! It definitely does happen.
@ thank you for your kind words.. ❤️
I can see how this is true, but how’s the martian going to come to terms with the Venusian? I think it would be better if both worked towards the needs of their partner. Now it just sounds like venusians need to let go and wait. (Which is literally easier said than done)
Next vid will be about how the Martian can better support the Venusian!
Everything you just said is so true
Noah! You were recommended on my page. I'm only 1m 38s in, and thought the subscriber count said 275k… which completely made sense to me because of your zero fluff intro, the timber of your voice, and the great disc golf shot intermissions. Great audio. No bg music. Let's the brain think. And no horrible logo splash screen which should be a crime. Just straight into thinking and talking. One day, I think you will have 275k. Instant subscribe from me. You can tell you're an excellent communicator. No pretense. No production. Just going straight to the heart. Love it. Hope to hear from you a lot more.
That means a lot, thank you for commenting! I have many more videos in the pipeline so yes you can expect to hear more from me. I hope you're here with me till 275k and beyond!
Mate so spot on!
I thought so too when I first read it from John Gray!
spot on
💯
I already know how to program but stayed until the end for the disks throwing. What a weirdly fun activity 😆
Haha glad you enjoyed it! It's called disc golf, you should give it a try!
Golden video. Those final tips were also Gold. thank you.
Appreciate you saying so, very glad it was helpful!
Very insightful
Glad you got value out of it! Are you working on an app now?
@@noah_bristol no, but you have inspired me! I'm a full time web dev. The closest thing to an app i have built is a PWA with svelte. I have dabbled in building flutter apps but never published
Woo Amazing concept. I like the IRL games. Unfortunately it's not available in France. It is possible to publish it for my country. Thanks
I originally thought I should just make it available in English-speaking countries since it's not localized to other languages, but I've received enough requests that I just went ahead and made it available worldwide. It may take a couple days to update but you'll be able to use it!
So much time passed, hardly aged a day 😨
flutter is actually a framework of a language "dart" not go. BTW both languages are made by google. Go is actually used in backend and flutter being a frontend UI framework dart is used in frontend.
Thanks for the clarification! As I said in the video I never used it, just researched enough to decide on RN.
Brave Noah! 🙂
Thanks Mikel!
Wow. Someone who had actually gone through the process.
Yeah, are you working on an app idea now?
Yes. You nailed the process of learning and creation and the challenges of marketing.
@@leanngugi Well when your app is ready come back and comment a link! I'd love to see it.
I will.
@@noah_bristol yours is?
For anyone waiting for the Convict Conditioning update, it's coming!
Is this near Moulton Falls?
Same part of the country but no, it's in Oregon near Molalla!
Please give us an update on your convict conditioning program
Haha, yes I posted here that I remembered this channel exists and will post a fitness update after seeing the comments asking for one.
so after 5 years, how is it going?
Are you working out now? Anyway, what are your achievements? How much do you weigh? I started exercising 12 days ago and would love to know your results!
You better still be working out
A little late to the party but for anyone struggling with pistol squats.... go back and master uneven squats....take mini steps between close squats and uneven. This will strengthen the shin and hip flexor while stretching the hamstring and allow you to manage the rest of the progressions fully. Master the SLOW uneven squats and you will have a solid and springy bottom position!!
DO THE REPS SLOWLY, BREATHE AND PAUSE LIKE THE BOOK SAID. YOURE GOING TO FAST. you will get far better results.
Where part 3 though dude? I wanna see how much uve progressed
Holy smokes! Nice shit dude
Brought back some childhood memories with this! Thank you 🙏🏻 P.s. a tip on how to jump from 30+ foot cliffs I learned from Bear Grylls on Man vs. Wild lol after you jump put your arms/hands down next to the sides of your body and bend your knees positioning them as if you're sitting on a chair. I wish I would have known this when I jumped off a 100 ft cliff! Didn't learn it until after 😅
Wow. Great job overall. I can tell especially in your shoulders.
Good job brother. Hope you’ve stayed with it.
Recently lost 100 lb (got 20-30 more to go at least) and I told myself when I hit 250 I'd start in on CC. Today was my first day. Thanks for the video and the spreadsheet ideas etc. Lets see if I can build this to a habit!
You are to fast in each exercise thats why You dont build mass in book wayde Say 2 sets up 1 set pause and 2 set down so that You do 15 in this słów You Will trouble with 8
As someone just stumbling upon this video, great progress! You're probably in top 5% fitness level
U took it like a champ💪💪💪
Bro need your help! Recently I read "Convict Conditioning. How to Bust Free of All Weakness Using the Lost Secrets of Supreme Survial». An interesting book, but there are still questions about repetitions in one approach and the number of workouts per week. I have a lot of free time, so I want to start every exercise of the big six from the very first level. But I ran into a problem when compiling a training program, because in the book 1 day per week is given for each exercise (for example, push-ups are performed only on Mondays). Hence the question: is it possible to somehow speed up and increase the number of workouts of one muscle group per week, for example push-ups 3 times a week, etc. In order to speed up the process of passing the first levels, which are so easy, or still do not rush the process and give each level a month (in this case, it turns out that in 4 weeks there will be only 4 workouts of one muscle group (for example, pull-ups), which in my opinion is very little. I apologize for the large amount of text) thank you in advance for the answer!
Do every single group in one session for three sessions a week. A full-body workout. Do handstand progression, squat progression, pullup progression, leg raise progression, bridge progression, pushup progression then hanging progression (from convict conditioning 2) in this order. Good luck.
I would just jam on random chords till you can change them a bit more confidently. I'm sure you are better 2 years on. Please make an update to your channel. I'm starting convict conditioning.
What about now?
Swiss ball for bridge.
Nice bro
Your neck and shoulders look fantastic! How often do you train?
You are too fast!Try to make the routines slower.3 seconds up,3 seconds down. You will fell the difference .It is much harder. The secret of getting stronger and bigger is "time under tension".Try to keep the muscles under tension longer, even above 3 seconds. And you can apply this with dumbells and the barbell too.I started this program 2 years ago ,but after a while ,i stopped because of my health.I started again and after a month I can see the difference although I am only at the beginning.I am stronger and my arms are as big as when I was training at the gym and did not know about this "muscle under tension" secret.Yes ,this is one of the biggest secrets of bodybuilding. You do not need huge weights or sophisticated machines. So keep the muscle under tension for as long as you can while moving .It is much harder for you to train this way.I will post a photo of myself when I will be satisfied with my progress.
It really is hard. I've been at it for around 3 months now. I seem to be 5 seconds ahead of you : my first try was exactly 1 min and my record is 1 min 40 seconds. Let our journey continue... Good luck !
haha I see u wearing thenx pants :D
This is a great video!!
Good work !
Never seen someone scared of a 10 foot water jump lol
lol you havent met me, i was never afraid of heights then around 20 something changed in me
Wait a minute, ain't you the dude that gave talks on NoFap? Holy fuck you strong as shit, mentally and physically. I remember watching your videos like 2-3 years ago.
Good thorough assessment of the program and your progression through it. I like that you included your opinions on each of the progressions and how you thought it could have been better.
And i also agree with your new programming and deciding to do a variation of each exercise every day of the week i think you will see much faster progress. Can you give us an update about your progress with your new programming? Very interested to see the difference in rate of progress between the two.
You look the same, lmao! Get shredded and impress the girls
He gained muscle 💪🏿
