So the kinetix 5100 is a different beast. It uses different software and isn’t really a CIP motion drive. I haven’t touched one in a while And don’t own a demo one.

Highlight the basepoint, press "v", right click, click placement options. Don't forget to click the checkbox "with reference to original position"
